and i've been doing just that. i'm not gonna scrap the beat, but i'm definitely going to take away alot of the notes, because sometimes too much can ruin a melody. because i realize now that simple beats tend to sound better. take Mobb Deep's Shook Ones. that was a tight song, but it had basically one melody, and not a whole lot added to it. thx for the advice, i'm learnin'....
cool man and your half right about shook ones part II song. the part where it has just one melody true. but that beat is soo fucken complicated to remake, i doubt anyone can remake it. keep working
