Since my thread was at the top, I thought I'd post an update here instead of starting another... I have 2 new beats that are kinda unfinished, or that I didn't work a lot on, but they're still decent and people could probably use them, so I thought I'd upload them instead of letting them collect dust on my hard drive

the first one is a beat that sounded too much like a Dre beat when I started it, so I lost interest in working on it, but it didn't turn out like a Dre beat that much I think anyways, listen to it here:

and the other beat is one that I made for a beat battle, and we had to use samples from the Saw movies (the theme song)... it's not really my type tho, it's almost dirty south-ish here's a zshare link:

they're not my best beats or my most complex beats, but hopefully some people might want to use it

i did enjoy it a lot its not sumin i wud personally work with (i can imagine ASP spittin to this) but i can definately appreciate the sound and talent,

it has this fucking awesome hip hop/rock sorta feel, when i first heard it i thought of Akala but now that you said linkin park/fort minor, it does sound more like there production, although even though im saying "sounds like" i still feel the mart85 touch in this production is what makes it, the way it has the live recording and everything just perfects the beat

I'll be doing more beats like that in the future... the only negative thing is that it takes a lot more time to do sometimes the time I spend on trying to play the guitar, practising it and recording it, and mixing it etc... is more than what I spend on the whole beat lol... but I'll still definately do more beats like that, I already have a few of them in the making
