Confusion - New Beat

A New Beat I was trying out, the piano was only meant as an intro but people thought it would be sick in the actual beat too so i tried it.. and thanks to chris for the help on it.

I like it, but I had to listen to it a few times to be able to appreciate, cause the first time, something kinda threw me off: listen to "Unfaithful" by Rihanna

but the beat is real nice, the drums are cool... piano is real nice too... my only "complaint" would be the guitar (?)in the hook, I thought the strings were enough or a different melody for the guitar would be a lot better but other than that it was real nice, probably your best so far

thanks mart, and yea the pianowas like "half" sampled, cause the notes were different, but the start of it was the same... so i wanted to base it off of that piano, but take it and change it up so it doesn't sound like i completely jsut took that haha.

i played part of it with my keyboard then i took it to fl studio quantized it and polished it a bit. but like is aid only part of it then i just used flstudio for he rest

key shifting occurs.. u must shift da keys till u get right.. u can drag, control da veolcity , quantize..

but as long as u can give da basic from da sampler ( keyboard )
ur in da right path man....

yeah I think what c-game is talking about is software that arrange songs automatically, with chords and stuff etc... all you have to do is press a few buttons, and you'll have melodies automatically

in FL, you have to come up with the notes yourself, so there's no problem it's better to know how to play them live tho, but making hip hop beats is about creating/composing, it's not about performing, so nobody cares if you're a good pianist or not lol, the important thing is what you create

yea... but ma point is... variations and certain melodies come from ur self...
coz i know XT... he is a wiz on keys and he can convert anythin he hears to music..
dats a huge plus factor in any kinda composition....
