Ok, first audio.. Any help?

Postby Block » Aug 28th, '07, 18:10

My first ever *Recorded* rap (That I wasn't just fucking with, and actually kept) was just against Kojak. It's in the battle section, you can peep/vote here: http://www.forum.trshady.com/viewtopic. ... 7&p=520422

But I'm making this thread here to ask with what I need help on...
Please, don't state obvious things such as my mic/delivery. I'm buying a new mic this week, this is a headset mic and it's busted to shit too, lol. My delivery is lower, almost like I'm reading, because I had to do it when my parents were home and they bitch if I'm too loud, lol. So, yeah.. What do you think of this?

oki delivary was da first problem wen i read this.. since u cant put effort at the moment den fair enough..

it seems da beat is playin on da background while u were recording...

is it???

well dat could be a starting point for u..

make sure da beat is comin through ur head fones

clean up da vocals individually a lil bit
EQ it..
add limiters..

well addin da basic standards would do.. ( da presets )

and den mix it..
could have been a better output..

Thanks, no the beat isn't in the background, lol. I dunno how to mix and all that shit. It's all done on COOL EDIT PRO 2, though. TA was gonna mix it for me, since I can't, but I just wanted to get it out quick.
