In till I collapse, in the intro there is a sick guitar pluck thing, he did something similar to it in lose yourself and i think DC did it in his beat, any ideas how to do it?

it's a muted guitar sound, but like any guitar sound, it's hard to get something really good with software lol... altho that Dre-Style muted guitar (used by Em sometimes too) isn't the toughest thing to recreate... look for "muted guitar" sounds in any VST you have, or if you don't have any, use regular guitar sounds, and make the notes really short, and fast (well, depending on what you wanna do) and you should get something good :y:

oh well it's just that Dre used that in many beats (WestSide Story by Game, In Da Club etc...) so people consider it one of Dre's signature sound  (and yeah Em used it in Till I Collapse too)

edit: oh and to make it sound good, it depends on your pattern... it's not always
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ...... it can be
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

don't know if the difference is easy to notice, but what I meant is it's not always on every 1/4th, there's a little "delay" sometimes, and it makes it sound better

edit 2: click on "quote", you'll see the lines ---- differently, cause now for some reasons, both lines are the same lol
