New Beat [Free Download]

Yeah I haven't gotten around to much production lately so i thought of making a new one today lol. It's pretty okay. not my best work ever though. Luckily it's something different for me. I included a Nas sample in it too.
So if you wanna download it go ahead. but if you wanna use it. PM me your version of a song with the beat. that's all i ask. oh and give me credit.

Its not too bad, theres a really annoying synth sounding thing in there...Ugh and it goes of pitch with the rest of the beat, w/o that and a lil bit of melody that beat would be close to Fire man...Good work tho im sure someone here could use it

oh yeah the synth. I'm waiting to get a new lead soundfont. that's just to hold the place till i get it. then it'll sound better. thanks for the feed.

the kick was a bit too weak for those powerful strings...

the strings really get annoying after a while... the piano that came in did not match it.. i liked the synth that came in and out, it added a whispering effect to the string which was great... I didn't see the reason you put a nas sample, but i love that song so GREAT

also, the snare did not fit the type of beat, the beat was more dark and the snare was like a club beat.. I liked the crash and hihats but they needed a bit more change ups.


Overall: I liked it, it got a bit repetitive, but i'm positive that vocals could fix that up easily

P.S. just so you don't get it twisted , I liked the beat, but the first 3 paragraphs, where just my criticism on how you could possibly make it better.

nice beat... but I would agree with what people said so far... that synth sounded off at times with the strings... and about the repetitiveness, ideally, that kind of strings melody would be better just for a hook, cause it would kinda take away from the vocals a bit since they're energetic a lot... the "lazy" way to solve this would be to keep the same melody for the verses, but with lower, more calm strings, or a different instrument... if you wanna push yourself tho, I would suggest trying to find something different for the verses, but if the beat is just for a track and you don't mind it being repetitive, do the lazy way lol

but yeah, the beat has potential, keep it up
