Before you get protools, make sure your system can handle the demands of it..make sure your processor has enough speed, your RAM needs to be 4+GB and you need a compatible OS..

If your not 100% sure, dont buy protools..

Well, i got fl studio 9 xxl pro edition, but, i might just be dumb lol, i find it a lil annoying recording how i want to in it, like a bit complex, like recording my vocals with the music at the same time..thats how i've always done it, then take the vocals and edit them and shit

but i was wondering what do you recommend for the best full featured program for like all i need, mastering, editing, real good mixing, that sort of stuff

i have adobe auditon 3.0, its pretty easy, but just wondering if theres something better i can use, i was looking into Acid pro, or Cubase or maybe Pro Tools, but i cant decide and need another oppinion =/

or should i just stick with adobe audition, or maybe just try and figure out fl studio for my recording better and do everything with that

i dont really feel like downloading more programs..i'd rather just work with 2

Man i strongly recommend Cubase this is the cutting edge to me.I started using it i was 16 i'm still using it though.if you can't buy it now i think they offer a demo"TRY BEFORE YOU BUY"
