what's the difference between lend and hire? cause my english teacher tried to explain it to me, but i sill don't get it :shifty:

can you say for example "hire a car" or it's better to say "lend a car"? :confusion:

To Hire is to take something for pay

To lend is to give something for pay

not exact but u get the idea.
