I do have a weak spot for Stephen King as well, I really loved The Stand. As to anyone who wants to get back into reading, you should really try some Murakami. He's easy to get into, and his way of mixing surrealistic elements with simple prose makes it a very pleasant read for both experienced and new readers alike.

I'm 13 and I read pretty vivaciously, so in that regard yet.
But even though most of my classes' are with 14-16 year olds, quite a lot of them don't read.
Maybe it's just cuz of where I live, lol.

Agree. I've read all three of them, kinda lost interest during the 3rd (or was it the 2nd?) book, but finished it and it was alright. Didn't like the finish, though (like who she ended up with and all that).
