A sentence of 384,912 years was demanded at the prosecution of Gabriel March Grandos, 22, at Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on March 11, 1972, for failing to deliver 42, 768 letters.

edit: it's not clear if this punishment was ever handed down. The longest verified sentence, though, 10,000 years for an American man in 1981 after killing at least three people. The man's name is Dudley Wayne Kyzer.

damn yo. Although I've heard prisons aren't all that bad in some places. Recently heard inmates were posting stuff to face book like pictures of candy, money, drugs, etc

haha, we are like that in Spain. You don't deliver your letters you go 384,912 years to prison. I have to say in Spain unlike in the US, you can never be in prison over 20 years I think it is. Doesn't matter how big the sentence is...

haha, we are like that in Spain. You don't deliver your letters you go 384,912 years to prison. I have to say in Spain unlike in the US, you can never be in prison over 20 years I think it is. Doesn't matter how big the sentence is...

I think that's how canada is, the life sentence for us is 25 years, for the U.S. I'm fairly certain life means life, hell they even got the death penalty.
