I never usually read but I'm reading a Harry Potter book just now. It's the one where Fumblebore, dumblydo, THAT GUY dies. Everyone's already told me what happens in it, but fuck it.

Wanting and needing are both completely different things. Also, there's a biological reason for that. Men weren't made to settle down, and have a nice comfortable life. We were made to "polinate," as someone said before. That's also why we look at other girls/women when we're with you. We were made to be attracted to more than one person in order to enable humanity to survive. We needed to breed - therefore we couldn't just be attracted to one woman.
