Whaaat? Big Boss isn't stupid, he's one of the smartest video game characters EVER.

Big Boss - codename Naked Snake at the time of the Virtuous Mission and Operation Snake Eater - was duped, or manipulated by EVA. After the Virtuous Mission, and after Colonel Volgin blew up a research facility, Naked Snake was sent back to that same research facility to meet up with a man codename ADAM. Snake would be able to confirm that this man was ADAM by giving Snake the password: La le lu li lo (I think that's the order).

Unfortunately, EVA arrived instead of ADAM (you later learn why ADAM never arrived), but instead of giving him the password, EVA wooed Snake with her wonderful breasts and marksman abilities.

She then played the role of a cute, dangerous spy and aided Snake during his mission. However, she also worked for the Chinese government, and sold a portion of the Philosopher's Legacy to them.

EVA was a triple spy, just like ADAM. She was trained to be that way, to be able to fool even the toughest agent (Big Boss).

Man, Metal Gear Solid is so fucking fascinating. You'd be a fool to not have played the games.

Someone's never played MGS3.. he's forced to kill The Boss, the one he blows the brains out of. The other one that uses him sleeps with him at the end of the game, steals a chip that's with trillions for the Chinese or whatever, she triple crossed some governments.

After that, he builds his own fortress, which gets blown up, then he builds another (Zanzibar) which his cloned son infiltrates and blows up, nearly killing BB himself. Same thing happens again later.

Later, one of his 3 cloned sons is almost responsible for a apocalyptic WW3, then the son that infiltrated BB kills his own brother (the other son), meaning 2 of the 3 sons are dead.

He dies in the arms of the last one, Solid Snake.
