How to make m3u files?

Postby mart85 » Apr 8th, '06, 03:29

I'm about to finish my Eminem remixes compilation and I want to make a m3u file...(you know, a file that when you click on it, the first track of your playlists starts and then, the other songs play in order...) How do I do that? Could anyone help with that?

I was the first to post remixes here! I've been here since May of last year! :tounge2: just kidding

You know when you download singles for examples...there's always a file that is numbered 00, and when you open this file, the whole playlist plays in order...I'd like to have that file (which is a m3u) because I'd prefer people to listen to it in order, since some songs finish the way the next song starts...you know what I mean? It's not that important but it'd be cool...

ok, thanks thomas, but I'm not sure if it'll work on another computer, cause the file keeps in memory the path of the songs... And also, I'd like to put the cover so that when you open the m3u file, you get the playlist to play in order and the cover appears (like in windows media player)... does anybody know how to do that?

I think cover is in the ID tag of each song, there are programs where you can change song title/artist/etc. and add a pic of the album. I don't think it's possible to add album art to the .m3u itself.
