How do you revise?

Many of us have exams coming up in the next few weeks, but how do you revise?
I've never been able to revise and use luck and prayers to pass more often then not, looking for new ways .. what's your methods of revision?

me and studying is like me and science......we don't go together :laughing:

i'll probably skim over my uncompleted study guides but that's about it

btw i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO happy i can use my bio study guide on the test!!!!.....now i can actually pass with a decent grade $\:D/$ other classes, i'm not worried about cause i actually understand and remember the information :smoking:

not stressed out about any of my exams except my bio one

well, there's a chance that I won't take exams, well, every school in my city probably won't take exams, but if we do, it'll be easy fo' me, cuz I can have my books in front of me and read in them while I'm takin' the fuckin' exam...lol

last year all my teachers let me use study guides on the test so i passed each one with an A....even my physical science one.....i got a higher grade than my friend and i had no clue what was going on half the time :laughing:

i never get the point of exams......i don't think they prove anything besides how good you are at taking tests

i only use note cards if it's vocab i REALLY need to remember......if i wrote down every exam question on a notecard that would take ages since it's about 100 questions per exam and i have to take 8 :sweating:

i have always cheat on my exams with papers and written things on my arms, legs and sometimes in my pencil case.but mostly i have study for it.

but maybe you can make questions on a paper and look for the answers in your books and study then.it's easyer then study the whole books or papers.

Ive just done y first exam. :8)

I usually keep trying to solve problems related to the topic to see if i understand, i solve them till i get an understanding. If i manage to solve them right away without studying than i dont need no revision.

hm.. if it's maths, science or chemistry i just take my exercise book and do the exercises..

but if it's something like history, english or polish i just take my copybook or textbook and study, read my notes :shifty:

well when i revise for maths i just solve exercises cos well u can't memorize math and when i revise bio or physics or something like that i just read through my notes but i actually hate revising especially on the morning of the exam!!!

I always read over my notes, then write out the really important stuff. I find writing things out after reading really helps it stick in my mind. I also do lots of exercises and past-paper questions. Most of my exams are over, I've sat 4, I had biology this morning and I've only got Chemistry left.
