The Ultimate LSD Playlist

Postby EminemBase » Oct 16th, '12, 20:29

I love LSD, it's an amazing drug. I haven't done it in a long time now though, and probably have only done it about, ten times in total. Which actually illustrates one of its beauties: not addictive.

LSD is freeing, enhancing, enlightening... and can also be, frightening, but it's a tool you can use to brighten consciousness and open mental doors for fun. Basically, it kicks major fucking ass.

Colours, and music, and the combination especially whilst on it, are heavenly. And your thoughts can be profoundly original or new, and it's inherently creatively inspiring.

It's not addictive, there's no comedown, and it's one of the safest drugs known to man; it doesn't physically affect any of your organs, and it's totally natural. If God did drugs (or for that matter existed), he would do LSD, that would be his shit. It's the God Drug.

Anyway, if there's any other LSD lovers here, checkout my playlist I compiled for it as I was preparing for a trip with a friend a while back now: ME ME ME, I'M THE LIST. THIS IS THE LINK.

I tried to pick the right mix from certain areas and sequence them in such a way as to begin, enhance, intrigue, amuse and end the trip. If any LSD users (or anybody who has used it) are here, COUGH, ABRAM; let me know what you think of it, and if you think it makes a good one.

That Earth video by the way, was STUNNING when we were tripping. That trip down the waterfall was like, visual and psychological euphoria to the max, and I felt in total awe of nature. Definitely have to trip surrounded by some real-life nature soon, it's the ultimate fixation and satisfaction.

Peace out, and don't forget to leave out the part about Steve Stoute :smoking:

I love it.

There's a common misconception that you need psychedelic videos for psychedelic drugs. This playlist is the perfect answer to that. Actual information, mixed with comedic elements, and simply good natured messages. You might add a video with the song "The Greatest Pac Man Victory in History" playing. That last verse would be very interesting sokmewhere between the initial comeup and the peak. Right around the first couple hours.

I'm sure Elision will pop in and mention that DMT is the God molecule. No disagreements, but I would recommend oral administration with an MAOI for this type of setting. I'm sure an experienced user like yourself would appreciate it, though I've never done the DMT myself. Tryptamines, even LSD, are a little too...insistent, I guess? They are great, but they definitely push you, regardless of whether or not you're necessarily ready. Psilocibin, in particular, despite it's relatively short duration.

Being that you're familiar with MDMA, I would reiterate my support for Mescaline. If you've ever had pure Molly, without the speedy aspect, you'd love Mescaline. It has the lovely feelings of Molly, the psychedelic nature of LSD, and visuals that exceed both...coupled with a "comedown" that is gentler than either. Not that LSD or Molly have a rough comedown, if I can even call it that.

Good stuff, for sure.

No way, nobody has an explanation as to why DMT exists in nature. In fact it's only produced in us mammals during deep REM sleep and natural bodily-shutdown as far is we know.

But as for "god", if you really want to get into it, I believe is us. In the sense that us consciousness holders are the observers of this playground we currently reside in. And these bodies are simply shards of the consciousness blob if you will. We have several senses we get to work with for a small period of time, and we build a short-lived sense of "self" in the process which is simply memory, and is obviously wiped in death. But the consciousness, the thing that is allowing us to know we are having the experience in the first place. The 'I think therefor I am', is what I like to think of as god. Because what's the point of existence without something to observe it. We know now that electrons act completely differently simply by being observed, and if you ask me man, this whole thing is a game we're playing to just fuckin have something to do. And I think that's why it sucks when you see other things with consciousness in turmoil. Even if you'll never actually know them in this body. And I guess that's why death doesn't matter too much, because if you don't have a vehicle for the consciousness to reside in, you obviously don't posses a brain to contain tangible memory, and thus you are no longer are capable of having a sense of time/space (having lost sense as a whole). Thus "you" simply becomes part of the consciousness blob that just exists. It has to exist because consciousness has to come from somewhere. Even if it poofed out of nowhere in the same way that new ideas come into your head, it still has an origin. A root if you will. And, as I said, I believe that is god. The generator. And unless you're generated, you don't exist enough to know you don't exist. And that's why I think non-intelligent reincarnation is inevitable in the sense that the consciousness (life) is always being born into existence.
Whited ^ out so only people who give a fuck have to see

That being said, environment is everything when taking most serious psychedelics. These are our dixie cups and goggles to separate dimensions. Just learn and take in as much as you possibly can. And of course LSD will push you, but that's what it's supposed to do. If you're not ready for that you don't need to be taking it :n: I don't necessarily think you can make a global playlist for everybody. You gotta find what's most soothing/comforting to you.

I'm definitely interested in reading your in depth whited out part, but for now I just need clarification on your first paragraph. I'm confused as to what part of my quote you didn't fully agree with. I was calling it that because EmBase referred to LSD in that regard, and my mention of you was mainly to reference the fact that DMT is often called that, and because you actually have experience with it.

Maybe I misunderstood your post? That part, anyway.

Oh I wasn't disagreeing. Just throwing my two cents in. I was trying to clarify that my idea of god doesn't allow me to call anything a god molecule.

I haven't done LSD, but I have tripped on shrooms and I have friends who are really into it that say they are quite similar.

I don't think you would even be aware of a playlist when under the influence of DMT, shit knocks you out.

You actually retain your hearing completely. It's the only sense that stays with you :y:

You'll have to use pure sound though. Lyrics are moot as you need a sense of time to make out full sentences in order for the words to mean anything. It's just single syllables mashed

I think we're supposed to be talking about LSD though, which is a different thing all together
