I don't think it's crazy. People who like and dislike the same things usually get together. If someone don't feel like they fit in, he/she would most likely find a forum where the interests are the same.

Obviously there are some sheeps too.

And those who spend their time in the forum looking for new rappers, will usually start liking the ones who people in the forum talk about all the time.

When I joined I just came for Eminem, I didn't listen much rappers besides him. (2pac, Eminem & Hopsin and sometimes just random songs from Jay Z, Kanye ..) But I listen to more artists now because of what you people here recommend. And I stay away from rappers that get bashed a lot here lol. But I already hated the YMCMB crew obviously.

So, did you like Kendrick Lamar's albums?

Basically this happened to me as well.
When I joined I was listening to Em and some Dre and Fifty, just because they're pretty "Eminem related".
Reading this forum I started to like Tech N9ne, Hopsin, Snoop, I got into Obie Trice and D12.
Then people here are the reason why I am a Kendrick Lamar fan, because I really didn't check out his album before I read people praising it here.
I've then became a Jay Z and Kanye fan, but I think the fact that I like Kanye doesn't come from here, because he gets a lot of hate on TR.
An of course you made me hate Lil Wayne even more that I hated him before, to the point that I often turn off the radio/tv when he comes on.
So it's basically thanks to this forum that my Hip Hop love and knowledge became what it is now. so thanks everybody.

Internet here is so slow that it takes like 3 days to download something. GKMC finished downloading yesterday though and I like it so far. Especially the first tracks & Black Boy Fly
