I'm pretty sure microphones (used for music at least) are only mono.

With my audio interface (PreSonus Inspire 1394) I have the option to do both..

Well let me rephrase I can either record a single mono channel centered or I can record two simontanious mono channels into Adobe Auditon..one panned left and one panned right (which gives off a stereo sound)..I was just wondering what other emcee use becuase Im not getting the sound I want with the centered channel..I have to dub almost everything to prevent from getting a dull flat sound (see battle with Chambers)..it makes my delivery sound bland, even though whenever I freestyle or do a live show my delivery is one of my stronger points..

tracked out as in, like the punchins all seperate and stuff?

i'd prefer if u just mixed it down so they're all in one file but if that doesn't work i understand and it's cool. just make sure it's raw and unmixed.
