Still at a lost

Postby FAME » Mar 27th, '10, 08:15

Okay so my sound quality is still bad, I can still hear this fuzzing sorta sound in the background and it gets louder when I turn my sound up.

Is currently my set up plus yeah I have it plugged in. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here I'm using a Samson C01U mic and a homemade popfilter, recording in my closet, and hanging my mic from a pants hanger. I'm fucking cheap but whatever. Any suggestions to get my sound better?

thanks for the correction, have any audio knowledge in that smart brain? :flutter:

Yeah, about recording death metal. I don't know the first thing about recording rap, sorry.
But I would guess it's not the mic, but something else like integrating it with your speakers wrong.
And if you don't have a decent mixer, of course it won't sound great.
But before anything, I'd recommend you play around with your graphic equalizer (don't use a para equalizer) to improve your sound.
Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets.

Thanks for the help, you should post some of your death metal songs in the audio section :)
