Hey, here my latest beat. It's a collab beat I made with Slavebell, from AtomicBeats.com

For this one we wanted to have a "live" feel to it, so we recorded guitars (electric and acoustic) and we used live bass too. The hook was made by a rapper named Dubbs.

And yeah, we like to add a lot of details in our beats, some people like that, others don't, I guess you can't please everybody

hey mart. what program do you use for the final mastering of each beat???
I can use Pro Tools at the studio but I dont know the settings for hip hop masterings. do you use something more specific??

I use FL Studio for the mastering. In this case tho, Slavebell is the one who made the mastering, and he uses FL Studio too (and he's a pro engineer). He doesn't use the FL plugins tho, he mostly uses the Waves plugins I think.

As far as the settings, there's no preset or "formula", it really all depends on the beat/track. Personally, I usually keep it simple and if there's something that needs to be changed, I usually adjust it in the mixing instead of the mastering.

yeah, Chambers used it, you can go to the audio stage and find it. Bar also made a song to it, but I don't know if it's finished, but I guess it will be released soon, or when his mixtape comes out
