Space Bound is pop "like", with its chorus how it is and everything, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a full blown pop song

Love The Way You Lie is meant to sound like it sounds. It's supposed to be the big single from Recovery, but LTWYL is better than your average pop song

Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

In before an EminemBase rant how "Love The Way You Lie" is NOT a pop song

(It is a pop song btw, although it's a decent one.)

Well it's certainly not your average Eminem song, but I wouldn't necessarily call it pop. More like, popular and radio-friendly. Uhhh :confusion:

Wait I just realised the title of the thread says most pop-like songs :sweating: . Ok then I guess yes Space Bound and LTWYL, considering the melody and hook.

LOL 25 To Life is not a pop song, neither is Going Through Changes, Not Afraid, Beautiful or You're Never Over

Actually, NONE of those songs are pop. The closest one to pop is Space Bound, and it's not meant to be pop I don't think

Fail :n:

Spacebound definitely doesn't sound like a typical stereotypical hip hop song to me but I don't think it's a typical pop song either. I think it carries the traits of multiple genres but first and foremost it's an Eminem song. It's something that represents his style and Eminem isn't a typical hip hop artist.

Exactly. Just because some songs are catchy, doesn't make them pop. The closest to pop being Just Lose It and stuff of that nature.
