LTWYL is classified as a hip hop song. Pop is an entirely different genre than what LTWYL is. No one would be saying it was a pop song if Rihanna wasn't on it. Ri Ri doesn't make songs pop

I would call LTWYL a pop song just off of the beat and chorus alone. Without Me could be considered pop. Recovery overall is a pretty poppy sounding albums with the production, it sounds like something you would hear on the radio. I'm not saying that's good or bad it it's true. None of his first 5 albums had those kind of songs other than the huge radio hits. I would prefer he goes back to real hip-hop producers, the only current one he's that's has any talent is Kalil.

You can call the song cheap, tacky, rubbish, bad, catchy, amazing... Whatever, but a song about domestic violence with realistic, real to life lyricism can not be called a pop song. It is not a pop song, no matter how big it gets or who's on the fucking chorus.

That's just the content alone which makes it not a pop song. The content is not pop music and Eminem is RAPPING on it. That makes it hip-hop. It's hip-hop, and it's not watered down hip-hop. Being catchy doesn't make something pop.
