^that's not completely true. They both appeared at number one spot while the poll was open and it's very possible Eminem would have ended first if they had let it open longer. Instead they decided to close the poll after three hours right after Kanye fans ended their multiple voting mission and before Eminem fans could start their multiple voting mission. They did the same with the best album poll. Eminem's percentage was growing so fast he would get before Kanye very soon, so they quickly closed the poll. If they were fair, they would have closed the best album poll after three hours too. Eminem was leading with like 96%. Instead of closing it after three hours, they waited for Kanye fans to do the voting and quickly closed it.
