The Media Traffic use estimations and run from Dec-Dec, the IFPI (official worldwide sales) gives out official sales in early January. This runs from Jan 1st - Dec 31st. The reason why MediaTraffic have Lady Gaga at #1 is because they are counting her sales from the final weeks of december 2009.

Just wait for the official sales. Recovery will have likely sold more than 5.7m too.
