well... newhom, they asked if neone smoked, but there was no poll...... so i thought id do it here and add sum things and turn it into a bit more serious of a descussion.........
some facts about smoking and the tobaco industry:

- 390, 000 americans die from cigarette smoking each year
- smoking has been responsable for 16% (1 in 6) of all deaths in the U.S.

- cigarette smoking is the leading cause of emphysema, lung cancer, and

- in 1988 the Surgeon General reported that nicotine is just as addictive as
heroin and cocain
- a "hit" of nicotine reaches the brain in 7 seconds, twice as fast as a syringe
of heroin injected into the vein
- cigarettes are the most heavily advertised products in the U.S.
- tobaco companies spend over $5, 000 per mint on advertising and
promotion
- smoking costs the nation $65 billion per year in health - care costs and
lost productivity - thats $262 per american per year

i myself am a smoker....... so i can see both sides of the argument, i agree whole heartedly that it is discusting and extremely unhealthy..... but it is a very hard habbit to kick.... but now im starting to see y everytime i tell sumone i smoke, the reaction i always get is: eeewwwwww (and it wasnt just u who said that babe)
and im also not gonna lie or hide the fact that the reason i started was becus of peer preasure and the need to fit in and be cool..... as of now after doin all the research and everything, im kickin myself in the ass for ever falling for sumthing so stupid...... and correct me if im wrong... but... isnt this an extremely gross example of the explotation of americas youth?..... cus i know im not the only adolecent that fell victim to this deadly trend......
o.. and FYI... those of u who smoke but "not cigarettes" and yall know who u r...... pleez dont share that in this thread..... this topic is for tobaco only. if u wish to share ur weed expeiriences... pleez start a different thread. thank u.
