This is what would have made TES a classic imo, tbh

Postby WakeUpShow » Mar 31st, '11, 20:16

don't freak out, i know these are done often.

White America
Cleanin Out My Closet
Soldier
Say Goodbye to Hollywood
Sing For The Moment
No Apologies
Without Me
My Dad's Gone Crazy
Business
Renegade feat. Jay-Z
Superman
Hailie's Song
Till I Collapse feat. Nate Dogg

Would have been the greatest rap album, bar none.

Would have blown MMLP out of the water.

Renegade wouldn't fit. I mean...sort of but it would still stick out.

But, yeah this would most definitely let me say TES > MMLP without always changing my opinion back and forth between them two.

It's already a classic in my opinion. I think it's his best album.

I can't see No Apologies being in the middle. Imo that song belongs near the end, tbh.

(Nah but seriously I do think that lol)

TES is one of my fav albums period, it was my fav Eminem album until Recovery came out. If you take out the filler tracks and put good ones in their place, then I think it would have been untouchable. This tracklist would have made it untouchable for me:

1. White America
2. Business
3. Cleaning Out My Closet
4. Square Dance
5. Soldier
6. Say Goodbye Hollywood
7. Stimulate
8. Without Me
9. Sing For The Moment
10. Superman
11. Hailie's Song
12. When The Music Stops
13. Lose Yourself
14. Till I Collapse
15. My Dad's Gone Crazy

This is the way I listen to his songs from the TES era, and it's Eminem at his prime. I love Recovery, but I don't know which album I would have liked more.

Honestly the only thing that could be changed about The Eminem Show is replacing Drips with Stimulate, because everything else on it is fucking perfect really. Every track or skit is relevant (yes even Drips I just don't personally enjoy it as much). Only problem with putting Stimulate on it is the similarity to Sing For The Moment, and they'd be pretty close to each other so it would be more noticable.

It is already a classic, save for Drips, which is still listenable.

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake
