G.O.A.T

Can we all just take a minute to appreciate the flow on this track. I'm not saying it's by any means a brilliant record but the way he rides the beat is pretty class. The beat rolls the words along like a train and it must have been pretty hard to keep up with at times. I think it is done consistently throughout, just try rap along with it yourself and you'll see what I mean. The stressed/unstressed pattern of syllables and the emphasis on certain words is wicked. It feels like he is spitting clusters of three syllables at a time...

Maybe they
figured that
I'm on my
way out the
game so they
gotta go
try to find
em a new
eminem
or a new
shady if
they think it's
gonna hap-
-pen man i
thought i was
crazy...

Thoughts?

GOAT, The Apple, Going Crazy & Emulate are good songs that I listen to once in a while.

I'm listening to it right now again. And yeah, it's impressive how he finds tons of modes to rap. Nearly no song Em has ever done sounds like an other one. I'm seeing him with his mic in the hand trying to invent some new shit, roflmao. And I agree also with you, it isn't his best track. But at least an original one.

yeah that was one thing that stood out from the first time i heard it. love the song, its diff, love the flow, overall it reminds me of tame "on fire" cause it has that mixtape feel. good song for the collection, nothing amazing, but def something ive bumped :y:

Regardless, the way he flowed the part that the OP posted isn't the easiest thing to do.
