Life of Rhyme

Anyone in the UK catch it just now? Came on Channel 4 and managed to avoid being the usual bullshit on that channel, Akala was presenting and featured many good rappers, with interesting opinions and an effort to bring rap to those who dismiss it at first sight, with the addressing of several social issues. Good stuff.

Yeah it was brilliant, one of the best rap programmes I've ever seen. Showed hip-hop in a completely positive light (bar the few moments of homophobia) and Akala was the perfect presenter.

Dot Rotten, Giggs (who I think is shit) and Lowkey came across really well and made some great points. Lowkey's comment about people being scared to walk on the same street as some people who rap, let alone listen to them speak, was a great point.

I saw this last night, I don't know much about the UK Hip-Hop scene but it motivated me to find out about a few of these guys, especially lowkey, he seemed the most interesting..
