In case you all didn't realize HOW MANY FUCKING SONGS THIS GUY HAS DONE!

Holy shit, I started writing this 2 and a half hours ago.. At first I was just going to make a thread saying "List of Eminem's album songs" but I did some dexedrine today to get some schoolwork done, and I guess I'm kind of tweaked. I ended up reviewing Eminem songs for hours, lol. Needless to say, if you're not a fan of Eminem, you won't want to read this.. I doubt. You'll also probably want to flame me for liking Eminem. I don't care. Go ahead. I'm not going to lie and pretend not to like my favourite artist because it's not cool to like something popular. Lots of underdogs are likely better, and more appealing to side with, but when I say Eminem is the best it's in the sense that his music has actually had an impact on so many lives.. It means out of those who have made it famous and into my ears. The reviews seem to get more in depth the further I go as you might notice. For those who like Eminem and are interested in my opinion on him, have fun. For the rest of you, FUCK OFF.. or post something insulting about me, my music tastes, the length of this post, etc. Whatever you prefer.

Or in case you're an Eminem hater and don't realize what he's accomplished in his career, or how many high quality songs there are in this list. 9/10 of them are literally some of the best rap songs ever made. I think it's pretty good if 90% of an artists songs are the best in the entire genre.

I'm going to bold what I think are incredible songs. If it's not bold, it doesn't mean it's not good, all of his songs are good minus ONE OR TWO. None are completely bad. I'm just bolding the ones that stand out particularly as amazing to me, and for whatever reason. You guys can copy & paste my list and bold what you like best.

This whole CD is bolded for the most part, because this is the most epic CD I've ever heard in my life. When this came out when I was 12-13, the effect it had on my generation was crazy. Almost EVERY kid I knew wanted to be like Slim Shady in some way or another. The collective quality of all of these songs pieced together is a masterpiece on it's own. This CD is nearly full of classics because they all added together to define the most controversial artist ever. This CD was talked about by the media constantly and often attacked, and Eminem just refuses to compromise tone it down to any degree after being accused of being a chauvinist, a homophobe, a psychopath etc. in his first CD. He purposely acts like "Whatever people say he is" and takes it as far as it can go spitting it back at them in a fireball of artistic fury. People didn't know what to think when this came out.

This CD was almost as good as the MMLP, and even better than the SSLP IMO because after the second CD, a lot of people truly believed Eminem to be a psychopath. Of course, any rational minded person would realize that the CD before this wasn't meant to be taken as literally as it was, but it was surprising to see how many people high up in the rankings of the media truly believed it to be literal. Anyways, this CD blew me away because of how different it sounded than the bomb that preceded it. When I first heard "Halies song" I was about 14 and I could not believe that it was coming from the same artist that I heard on the MMLP. I listened to it repeatedly and just thought "Wow." I was actually disappointed when this CD came out because I wanted another CD with attitude like the MMLP, even though most of it's still there it's not quite as intense. Instead the music is better, the lyrics are more mature and it's a classic because this is the CD where Eminem reveals how wrong everyone was about him. Now, I appreciate this CD a lot and realize it may have sounded forced if he kept the MMLP attitude. The songs are all of the highest quality and it's more diverse than the MMLP, he touches on a lot more issues on even better beats here, and the songs are diverse enough that there's a lot more moods you can enjoy this CD while in. It's hard to decide which is better for me, the MMLP or TES.. actually it's not. The MMLP is better.. more of a masterpiece. More mindblowing and interesting, but if it makes any sense I think this third CD has higher quality music at the same time.

White America is a classic, not a personal favorite. I like Business and Square dance because the beats are fucking awesome. I was never big on Cleaning out my Closet, but I know it's classic for most and helped define Eminem.. so it's bolded. Soldier and Say Goodbye Hollywood may not be classics but I like them personally. Without Me was and still is a great song. Sing for the moment was epic, one of if not the best on the album with very mature and deep lyrics. Halies song = epic because of how mindblowing the attitude he has in it is in contrast to the CD before it. When the music stops and say what you say are good songs, particularly Eminem's verse in "when the music stops" but I didn't bold them because I don't feel they're absolute classics or personal favourites of mine. Till I Collapse is incredible, and I will listen to it to this day. My Dads Gone Crazy is also incredible, and seals the deal on his 3rd prime album in a row. Especially when the beat changes at the end of the third verse and you can tell he's about to rhyme like crazy and end ANOTHER amazing CD.

This CD was where Eminem had no choice but to put out something inferior to the work before it. I honestly thought "What the fuck is he going to say now" after "TES", so the fact that he even came out with this or anything after 8 mile is crazy. (Also, Lose yourself just might be the greatest rap song ever made, it's a tough call in my books though, 8 mile road was great too).

Obviously there's not as much bolded here. Although not absolutely amazing like the CD's before it, it IS amazing that he still came up with it. I think there's a hidden concept behind this CD, that concept being "I'm going to make some garbage for nothing to prove a point, the point that I can do whatever I want and you will buy my album".. I think that's the point of "Puke", "Ass like that", "Rain man", "Big Weenie", "My first single". Unfortunately this flew over most people's heads and they thought he just wasn't as good.. and it ISN'T as good as his work before it even still, but it's still great.. and clever. I actually think Puke and Rainman are very enjoyable songs. I don't really like Ass like that, but I like how he kept it original for others.

Onto the others, "Yellow brick road" may not be a classic, but something about it seems very deep and emotional and it puts me in a weird mood, reminisquing on 12th grade and it's crazy times when I hear it. That's only because this came out when I was that age, but I still always liked this song for some reason. "Like toy soldiers" is clearly a deep, clever, and mature song.. it's not one of my favourites, but it's a classic. "Puke" and "Rain man" are bolded because they're songs I like. I can enjoy them to this day. He's got some sick flows in "My first single" and a couple nice lines in "Big weenie" and although I understand the concept he intended for with these songs, I still don't think they're Eminem quality. Same with "Evil Deeds" and "Never Enough" They're both top notch rap songs, but evil deeds (even with it's sick beat) doesn't have good enough lyrics to draw you in like the older Eminem. Same with "Never Enough". His flow is amazing, but after releasing "Till I collapse" as his song with Nate Dogg on his previous album, having this song near the beginning almost tells the listener "Ok, this isn't as good as The Eminem Show" because people will instantly compare it these songs to "White America" and "Till I Collapse". "Just lose it is probably a classic, but I didn't highlight it (even though I enjoy it) because it's not as good as the other first singles, which says a lot about the CD. It's still good, but it's no "My name is", "The Real Slim Shady", or "Without Me". "Spend some time", "Mockingbird", and "Crazy in love" set the tone for this album IMO. These 3 songs, along with "Yellow brick road" all put me in an undescribable dark, but happy kind of mood. None of his other CD's have had this effect on me. "I love you more" should have been on the original CD instead of the bonus CD that came with it, but it leaked in Winter of 03 with some others. I think if "We as Americans" and "I love you more" did not leak and were on the album instead of "Big Weenie" or "My first single", then this album would have it's own feel to it.

Although this album is considered his worst, and possibly legitly, it's still a better rap album than nearly any out that I've heard. There's 4-5 songs that aren't on the standard Eminem level that every song had on the CD's before it, making it apparent that it couldn't top those CD's, but for what it is, it's an awesome CD with it's own emotional & unique feel to it when you look at the best of it.

A lot of people feel that Eminem is shit since he came back from retirement. I just want to make something clear, HE CAN NOT by ANY MEANS match the heights he set early in his career. It wouldn't matter if he made the greatest album possible, it can not top his first 3 albums because he's not new anymore, everyone knows he's not a psychopath now so he can't fuck with people's heads, he's already said nearly EVERYTHING he could say that would interest anyone, he's 37 here instead of in his twenties and young people are always more appealing. A lot of people don't like this album because of the "accents" he uses, or because he's basically fucking around and making shit up the whole time except in 2-3 songs.

I knew before this came out that it would never match MMLP or TES, but I was hoping it would at least be something good in comparison to the rest of the hip hop scene. I wasn't dissapointed. I was actually ecstatic when this leaked onto the internet and I heard him spitting insane lyrics on nearly every song and making shit up as if he was Slim Shady again. This album is incredible for the same reason I used when describing Encore. "What left can he possibly say?" This album is a completely unique CONCEPT album. He's acting that way on purpose, he's not doing serious emotional songs on purpose. He found away around doing those types of songs when he's already touched on nearly everything. He makes a clever CD, calls it "Relapse" suggesting to listeners that he may be going back to his roots, obviously exciting his fans. He then turns the album into something that's nothing like the rest of his albums. It's nearly ALL just him getting back in the groove of rapping and flowing again, except now the controversy and wonder surrounding him that made him so interesting in the first place is replaced with the only thing that could justify the CD. Flows about whatever zany shit he feels like, saying the most fucked up shit possible in a fucked up voice (that he HAD to use to make the rhymes work in a lot of cases) all while FLOWING and using wordplay that surpasses even every one of his first 4 main albums. He was creative with this one, and even though the songs aren't serious for the most part, they're good songs in the sense that they're enjoyable to listen to. It's got good beats on nearly all of the songs, and it's fun to drive around blasting them while listening to him go crazy with his wordplay regardless of what he's saying.

It was also kind of refreshing getting a taste of his old persona on SSLP (IMO, for the most part) hearing him basically say "Fuck the dramatic shit" and just pump out some sick fucked up lyrics flowing like crazy over some good beats.

"3am" wasn't one of my favourites. I respect it, and it's got some sick verses, but there's better on the CD. Probably because it's overshadowed by "Stay wide awake" because the songs are basically about the same thing, yet Stay wide awake is just ridiculous with the lyrics and flow.. beat, presentation, everything. When I heard "My Mom" (The first song I threw on when it leaked because We made you and 3am were already singles I had heard) I was extremely happy. I was like "Holy fuck he's hardcore again, this is nothing like Encore he's actually going nuts here". Then I heard "Insane". Insane isn't a song I particularly like, but I think it helped define the album.. Because it's likely meant to be as fucked up as fucking possible, when everyone thought that the eminem that said shit like that was gone. I could tell by the end of "insane" that this album was laid back and great. I didn't think he had it in him anymore. "Bagpipes from Baghdad" and "Hello" basically follow this pattern. All 4 of this songs collectively kind of let me know what this CD is all about. Him taking it easy and fucking around, saying whatever he wants. He's taking a breather from all of the drama and just rapping about crazy shit and making the wordplay as good as he could. I liked it. "Tonya" and "Same song and dance" are AWESOME. When I heard it and realized the song was based on the "Tonya" skit before it with the hitchhiker (it didn't click in at first) I was blown away. This song is genius. You always hear club songs saying shit like "Yeah shorty shake that ass, do that dance, sing that song." Eminem's spin on these commonly heard types of club songs is "Yeah, do that dance, it's the last dance you'll ever get the chance to do, bitch shake that ass, you ain't ever going to break that glass, the windshields too strong for you." I think that's some of the most brilliant shit he's come out with since retirement. He knows girls will dance to it without really listening to the music, and they do.

I liked "Medicine ball" and "We made you".. particularly medicine ball out of this pair, but for me they weren't anything THAT special. The christopher reeves shit in medicine ball was funny, and it's got some good flows, but it didn't do it for me like the other wacky songs closer to the beginning of the album. "We made you" is actually a likeable song in my books, but it's not bolded because it really fails in comparison to all of the other first singles that are supposed to be all "crazy". Even just lose it, which wasn't even close to the 3 first singles from his CD's before it was much better than "we made you" in my opinion.

"Old times sake" and "Must be the ganja" were nothing special for me.. when compared to the quality of most Eminem songs. They're still decent rap songs, but definitely not songs we'll remember in 10 years like the shit from his older CD's. Still, good flows, and he did his classic "one song back and forth with dre" and it's not bad or anything, just nothing amazing. I think "Stay Wide Awake" defined his whole horror-core persona. A lot of songs are about being a serial killer likely to fit the "fucked up" theme of the album, but Stay Wide Awake was like nothing I have ever heard before. Even if it is all a joke, NO ONE makes rap songs with that kind of wordplay, no one famous that I've heard of aside from Eminem anyways. "Deja Vu" is set apart from the style of the rest of the album in a sense, but not completely. The album is supposed to be about relapsing and all of the fucked up things that went through his mind when he was fucked up, but Deja Vu isn't him fucking around, he's explaining his story about drugs. Hook is amazing, one of his best ever, the verses are all amazing. Just a hands down great song. Particularly for me having my best friend die around the same time his best friend did, and me having been a benzo & opiate addict. "Now I need them just not to feel sick, yeah I'm getting by, wouldn't even be taking this shit of DeShaun didn't die"... that gives me goosebumps sometimes when I hear it. It gives the album which is mostly him playing around a small taste of serious Eminem for those who want it. "Beautiful" stands out amongst the rest because it's nothing like the rest. Apparently he wrote the first 2 verses just after "Encore" came out, while he was on drugs. It's a really touching song though, and although it doesn't fit the album, it's another taste of another Eminem persona for those who want it. "Crack a bottle" is nothing special. It kind of defines Eminem coming back in a sense as it was the first song from the album that leaked out, so I enjoy listening to it and remembering partying back when everyone else was listening to it, but the song itself is really nothing special, aside from the chorus.. which is alright on an Eminem standard.

"Underground" was spectacular for me when I first heard it. The night "Relapse" leaked online I listened to all of the songs in order after I burned it, and since it was called "Underground/Outro" I figured it was probably some long skit or something.. as Outro's are usually his skits at the end. When it came on and I heard him say "A lot of people ask me.." like he does at the beginning of "Criminal" and "Still don't give a fuck".. both the last songs on his first 2 CD's.. I immediately got excited for the song because it was nostalgic. That's what people wanted to hear him say at the beginning of his final song right there. Once again, another taste of a long gone Eminem, one we hadn't seen since 2000. It was his angry Marshall Mathers LP voice which I was thrilled about, and the beat was sick as fuck. This song can't top "Criminal" which it is most similar to.. but nothing could. It's still as good as it could have possibly been. My only gripe is that he's using his intense voice to rap about fictional movie characters near the end, and although the verses are sick, I wish he would have attempted to use his angry voice aimed more towards something real that's making him angry.. still, I was glad to hear it on the CD. Regardless of what anyone tells me, or how it compares to his first 3 CD's, I don't care. This was a brilliant come-back CD and I love it.

There are 2 bonus tracks on this album, both good. "Be careful what you wish for", and "My Darling". Be careful what you wish for is a good song, no doubt, but it's a bit too short for me to be bolded. It sounds like the old Eminem show Em explaining what's going on with his career, which I liked. The real prize winner here (and on this entire album, although it's a bonus) is "My Darling". This song is as good as anything he's ever put out, even in his prime. It's creative and clever as hell, explains his stance on things metaphorically, it's dark as fuck, has a SICK beat.. this song is it's own world and I love how he spends 2/3 of it arguing with a satanic voice that ends up rapping alongside his own voice at the end, showing us that it was the demon inside him he's arguing with the whole time (and possibly his old self). Sick epic song. Best song since he came back from retirement on anything 2009 or later.

Although many of the songs are highlighted, I do have a gripe with this album. I believe he did "sell out" here, yet I still love the album. The Eminem every fan loves doesn't "apologize" for previous work to make people assume that his new shit is on another level so they will buy it. He'd say "Fuck you, if you don't like it don't buy it then.. In fact if you don't like this CD either you can suck my dick. I'll do what I want, fuck what you like" or something along those lines. Unfortunately that Eminem is hidden (but not dead) right now, and he fucked up by doing that. Aside from that this album is fantastic. Again, nothing can top his first 3 albums, but same argument.. what could he possibly do or say next that would be fresh or remotely interesting? He somehow did it again. The thing I love about this CD is you can see how much passion he's putting into it, even though he knows he's not in the spotlight or interesting as he used to be no matter what he does. He STILL fucking makes an epic hip hop CD though, after doing what I thought was everything he could do.

This CD may actually end up being a classic. It's even more diverse than the Eminem show.. there's no theme of the album.. He switches something for each album so he never goes stale, and then everyone argues about "I want the MMLP Eminem back", "I want the SSLP Eminem back" then when he gives them what they want in "Relapse" Everyone is like "I like "Beautiful" because it's like the old "TES" Eminem. No matter what he does, someone is going to want "The old Eminem". "The old Eminem" consists of 3-4 completely different styles of rapping, and styles of content.. even different voices he uses. He can't do them all at once in one song or it would sound stupid (or epic), so what does he do? He takes as many different sounds as possible, makes funny songs, deep songs, sad songs, love songs, angry sounding songs, real songs, joke songs all top notch and all on one album with no skits. He performs a combo breaker and makes his most unique CD ever. Wacky wild 1st single, the exact opposite. Lots of skits that are basically an eminem trademark? Not even one on the entire CD. Somehow he managed to put out a new CD and make it unique and fresh, and of very high quality.. AGAIN.

"Cold wind blows" is sick. It sounds like something that would normally be a 1st single. It's cocky, catchy, mean, fun. He's joking around and offending people. It's much better than "We made you" from his previous album in the sense that it would make a good classic Eminem first single. "Talking to myself" is the second song and the EXACT OPPOSITE of the first one. Here he's not joking at all, he's showing a sense of low self esteem as opposed to cockiness, he's implying that he's not very good anymore and that he has mental problems at one point, or has been going through shit like that. It's basically a song about him having issues and breaking through them.

"On Fire" seems to be the favourite song of many. It's a great song and all, but it doesn't stand out to me for some reason. I can see why it would to most, he's got his angry voice that everyone (including myself) loves.. fuck it, I dunno, it's a great song. It's just not as unique and original as the rest, for me it's Eminem delivering some sick verses (which is good, but I'm used to it) but he's not really making any points with his serious voice. Sick verses though.. it just doesn't really stand out for some reason IMO.

"Won't Back Down" IS unique, because the song is basically Eminem doing the one thing he hasn't tried much of.. being a punchline artist, which is popular lately. He does an amazing job of it, and shows other rappers that he's one of the best at that too, if not the best (that's famous.. you never know what some people that aren't famous could be like). I just.. don't enjoy listening to the song. I don't like the beat all that much, and although he does a good job with it I just don't really enjoy listening to it.

"White trash party" is a nice laid back song to have included on the album. He's got a particularly good flow in it.. it's just not as unique as the rest IMO and I couldn't just bold every song on every album for containing something I appreciated. If I did that, then there would be no significance for the songs I DO bold.

"Going through changes" "Not afraid" "Seduction" and "No love" are an awesome sequential combination of songs that I believe Eminem placed in that order to tell a story in a sense. Going through changes reflects on Eminem being in a bad spot with drugs, so it obviously was a song about how he used to feel while on drugs. "Not afraid" comes right after it, and Going through changes is the perfect song to have before "not afraid".. because it seems like he's showing you that he's losing the negative attitude he had about his drug use and situation in life in GTC, and beating it in "Not afraid" by getting off of drugs. I find it insane how EMINEM is the one making "Not afraid", and if any of you have known him from the beginning you'll know why. I like how "Seduction" comes right after not afraid, because "Seduction" is just incredible, the beat is hot as fuck, the verses are awesome, the chorus is awesome.. one of the best songs on the album. It comes right after first a depressed song, then a transition song (Him beating the drugs and finding his confidence again), and then Seduction.. he's on top of the world, he's the best, and he's letting you know it. This kind of shows the listeners, or implies "Get off drugs, then you will find yourself and be awesome like this".

It also must be hard to put out a song about getting off drugs when he himself spent his early career helping young sponges absorb that "it's cool to do drugs". The fact that he's going back on what he said.. I actually respect it here. That takes something.. To accept that you may have fucked up a generation to an extent instead of denying it, and to put out a song that lots of people will hate you for doing (going back on your word) just to do the right thing and possibly help some of the world out now at the expense of what people say about you "selling out". I don't think this is why he sold out, by the way.. I think he sold out by agreeing to talk shit about his previous work to make more sales here, but fuck it. whatever.

After Seduction comes no love, an old song that used to place at my grade 9 dances made into a rap remix.. little wayne is on it. I truly believe Eminem is being really clever here and secretly dissing little wayne, while he's still telling us through his lyrics that he's in his prime now.. just like seduction. Apparently when Em & Wayne did this song live, Em says "Get these wack cocksuckers off stage, where the fuck is kanye when you need him?" he points at wayne. This is a brilliant way to insult someone.. without them even knowing, thus pointing out how gullible they are as well. He gets wayne on an album, does a SONG with him about "no love for you", points at him while saying get these wack cocksuckers off stage when they do it live (I believe that seals the debate right there, there's no other reason to do that, and I seriously doubt it was an accident. It's Em being a creative genius once again and it flying way over everyone's heads). Also, on the album, he says "little wayne smokes purp, till he burps, does a word search & get's circles wrapped around him like you do when I come through etc".. as if that's a coincidence and means nothing. In "Seduction" even if this song were about a girl, it would be amazing.. but it's not. The girl is rap itself. He says "They call me Fire Marshall I shut the shit down, your entire arsenal is not enough to fuck with one round, I am also the opposite of what you are like, you're a microcosm of what the fuck I am on the mic"... Possible reference to little waynes "Fire man". In not afraid "You said you were king, you lied through your teeth, for that fuck your feelings (fillings) instead of getting crowned you're getting capped. (Both types of fillings, he "lied through his teeth", lol. In "Talking to myself" he says "I almost made a song dissing little wayne, thank god that I didn't do it.. I'd have had my ass HANDED to me". It's so obvious that he's being sarcastic here.. it's too modest. he's not expecting anyone to take it seriously, he' lipping them. In seduction he talks about how the game is his, and everyone else he's probably referring to up there in the hip hop scene likely things he's talking about a girl.

"Space bound" is a strange song, but I actually like it. The chorus is weird, but interesting.. it provokes emotion. Just a love song, top notch as expected.

"Cinderella Man" ... I personally don't really like listening to this song that much because I don't like when the other guys voice says "Cinderella Man" constantly.. which is a shame, because the beat is amazing and the verses are some of the best & most cocky I've EVER heard from Em, present or past, so it gets bolded.

"25 to life" if this album wasn't brilliant enough as it already was for the reasons I mentioned earlier with "Seduction" and how it relates to the album, and not even to mention how good the wordplay and metaphors are on this album, this song seals the deal. This album is awesome. Seduction makes you believe at first he's talking about a girl, but it's actually about hip hop itself. 25 to life is well constructed, a good beat, good emotional flows about how whatever he does is basically not good enough "I bend over backwards for you all you do is laugh, cause that ain't good enough, you expect me to fold myself in half, till I snap." He makes a good point. In the beginning on the first listen it sounds definitely like a love song, to Kim or something.. but at the end he surprises everyone with "Fuck you hip hop, I'm divorcing you". Clever? Yes, but it goes beyond that. I think this song is meant to sound like a love song that surprises you with being about hip hop, so Kim/Mariah (whoever he's got the feelings for, probably Kim) are left to wonder if it was actually directed towards them/her. If I were Kim Mathers and I heard 25 to life.. I'd think he was being clever and killing 2 birds with one stone. I'm sure his personal relationship with her is just as important to him as his music, or close. He's not allowed to openly write songs about her anymore apparently, so what a brilliant way to write a song about her.. make it so each lyric could be used to represent how fans/critics/media treat him too. Fucking amazing. And no one catches this shit really, they just say he sucks. He might not have the type of music everyone likes, but he's definitely extremely smart. Smarter than any other famous rapper.. or at LEAST he shows it in his songs to a higher degree.

"Almost famous" This song is the SHIT. It's probably the heaviest song on the album, and he delivers it with verbal intensity that no one has seen in years. The beat and intense delivery of his vocals make thing song. The lyrics are great, but I wouldn't even give a fuck what he was saying even if they weren't.

"Love the way you lie" I wasn't going to bold this one, but then I remembered that it's Justin Biebers contender on youtube, and it probably made recovery as big as it is (something i can appreciate). It's not that I don't like the song.. I think it's a great song to be honest.. but since there's already a song with the same message on the B side of "Encore" that's even better, I don't think it stands out that much to me. I'm still glad the song is on the album, Rihanna does a really good job with the chorus, I actually like when she says "But that's alright" and the notes she uses with those words. It's well done and emotion provoking.

"You're never over" At first I didn't like the presentation of this song, the way he sings, but now I've grown to appreciate it. It would have been bolded anyways because it's definitely a unique song. A song that would have had to have been done eventually, and he completely kills it. It's also a great choice to conclude the album, and you can tell he's passionate in it. Who wouldn't be? I can also relate to it, having lost a best friend as I've already stated. I love the verses in this song. In conclusion, Eminem is still absolutely incredible, regardless of whether or not he was perfect in the past and unable to match it now. He's doing a better job than I could have possibly imagined.

There's also a bonus song on the original CD. "Untitled" I like it, but there's no real point to it, it just sounds like a sick freestyle on a sick beat. I would have bolded it, but as I said, I can't be bolding everything.

I guess there's 2 more bonus songs, yet they're not on the CD. You must have to download them like "CWYWF" and "My Darling" from relapse. I haven't heard the one at the bottom, but I've heard rydaz.. and it's a decent song, but that's it. Not anything too wild especially since it's Eminem. The theme of the song is "ryding" and "being tough" I believe, like a lot of rap is. It's not that bad.. I just think it's kind of lame to glorify fighting. I think any man who goes around talking shit to people and acting tough must have an inferiority crisis and be trying to compensate for something.

I know this is true at least in some cases because one time this guy (I'm going to end this with a personal funny story that this reminded me of) that all of the "tough" guys were afraid of was talking shit to me.. someone he didn't know I knew told me he bluffs and isn't actually tough, he just scares everyone.. so when he cocked me off in front of a store, i lipped him back.. he dared me to cross the street, and I did.. so he starts yelling at me making up some bullshit as to why he was starting shit. it was lies. He grabs me, I told him not to touch me and when he didn't let go I pushed him HARD into his car. He looked so surprised, lol, and like 20 people were there getting beer before the store closed watching. He starts swinging and got me once, but then I smashed him twice knocking him into his car again, then it got broken up while he screamed I'm lucky while bleeding, lol. He's lucky he didn't get humiliated more, because I don't act like a tough guy.

He will probably remember that day as a horrible day. Something kind of like "The day my life got flipped turned upside down, and I'd like to take a moment just sitting right there, and tell you how I became prince of a town called Belair." Maybe not though, he might just go into denial about the whole thing.

Holy shit, I started writing this 2 and a half hours ago.. At first I was just going to make a thread saying "List of Eminem's album songs" but I did some dexedrine today to get some schoolwork done, and I guess I'm kind of tweaked. I ended up reviewing Eminem songs for hours, lol. Needless to say, if you're not a fan of Eminem, you won't want to read this.. I doubt. You'll also probably want to flame me for liking Eminem. I don't care. Go ahead. I'm not going to lie and pretend not to like my favourite artist because it's not cool to like something popular. Lots of underdogs are likely better, and more appealing to side with, but when I say Eminem is the best it's in the sense that his music has actually had an impact on so many lives.. It means out of those who have made it famous and into my ears. The reviews seem to get more in depth the further I go as you might notice. For those who like Eminem and are interested in my opinion on him, have fun. For the rest of you, FUCK OFF.. or post something insulting about me, my music tastes, the length of this post, etc. Whatever you prefer.

Or in case you're an Eminem hater and don't realize what he's accomplished in his career, or how many high quality songs there are in this list. 9/10 of them are literally some of the best rap songs ever made. I think it's pretty good if 90% of an artists songs are the best in the entire genre.

This whole CD is bolded for the most part, because this is the most epic CD I've ever heard in my life. When this came out when I was 12-13, the effect it had on my generation was crazy. Almost EVERY kid I knew wanted to be like Slim Shady in some way or another. The collective quality of all of these songs pieced together is a masterpiece on it's own. This CD is nearly full of classics because they all added together to define the most controversial artist ever. This CD was talked about by the media constantly and often attacked, and Eminem just refuses to compromise tone it down to any degree after being accused of being a chauvinist, a homophobe, a psychopath etc. in his first CD. He purposely acts like "Whatever people say he is" and takes it as far as it can go spitting it back at them in a fireball of artistic fury. People didn't know what to think when this came out.

This CD was almost as good as the MMLP, and even better than the SSLP IMO because after the second CD, a lot of people truly believed Eminem to be a psychopath. Of course, any rational minded person would realize that the CD before this wasn't meant to be taken as literally as it was, but it was surprising to see how many people high up in the rankings of the media truly believed it to be literal. Anyways, this CD blew me away because of how different it sounded than the bomb that preceded it. When I first heard "Halies song" I was about 14 and I could not believe that it was coming from the same artist that I heard on the MMLP. I listened to it repeatedly and just thought "Wow." I was actually disappointed when this CD came out because I wanted another CD with attitude like the MMLP, even though most of it's still there it's not quite as intense. Instead the music is better, the lyrics are more mature and it's a classic because this is the CD where Eminem reveals how wrong everyone was about him. Now, I appreciate this CD a lot and realize it may have sounded forced if he kept the MMLP attitude. The songs are all of the highest quality and it's more diverse than the MMLP, he touches on a lot more issues on even better beats here, and the songs are diverse enough that there's a lot more moods you can enjoy this CD while in. It's hard to decide which is better for me, the MMLP or TES.. actually it's not. The MMLP is better.. more of a masterpiece. More mindblowing and interesting, but if it makes any sense I think this third CD has higher quality music at the same time.

White America is a classic, not a personal favorite. I like Business and Square dance because the beats are fucking awesome. I was never big on Cleaning out my Closet, but I know it's classic for most and helped define Eminem.. so it's bolded. Soldier and Say Goodbye Hollywood may not be classics but I like them personally. Without Me was and still is a great song. Sing for the moment was epic, one of if not the best on the album with very mature and deep lyrics. Halies song = epic because of how mindblowing the attitude he has in it is in contrast to the CD before it. When the music stops and say what you say are good songs, particularly Eminem's verse in "when the music stops" but I didn't bold them because I don't feel they're absolute classics or personal favourites of mine. Till I Collapse is incredible, and I will listen to it to this day. My Dads Gone Crazy is also incredible, and seals the deal on his 3rd prime album in a row. Especially when the beat changes at the end of the third verse and you can tell he's about to rhyme like crazy and end ANOTHER amazing CD.

This CD was where Eminem had no choice but to put out something inferior to the work before it. I honestly thought "What the fuck is he going to say now" after "TES", so the fact that he even came out with this or anything after 8 mile is crazy. (Also, Lose yourself just might be the greatest rap song ever made, it's a tough call in my books though, 8 mile road was great too).

Obviously there's not as much bolded here. Although not absolutely amazing like the CD's before it, it IS amazing that he still came up with it. I think there's a hidden concept behind this CD, that concept being "I'm going to make some garbage for nothing to prove a point, the point that I can do whatever I want and you will buy my album".. I think that's the point of "Puke", "Ass like that", "Rain man", "Big Weenie", "My first single". Unfortunately this flew over most people's heads and they thought he just wasn't as good.. and it ISN'T as good as his work before it even still, but it's still great.. and clever. I actually think Puke and Rainman are very enjoyable songs. I don't really like Ass like that, but I like how he kept it original for others.

Onto the others, "Yellow brick road" may not be a classic, but something about it seems very deep and emotional and it puts me in a weird mood, reminisquing on 12th grade and it's crazy times when I hear it. That's only because this came out when I was that age, but I still always liked this song for some reason. "Like toy soldiers" is clearly a deep, clever, and mature song.. it's not one of my favourites, but it's a classic. "Puke" and "Rain man" are bolded because they're songs I like. I can enjoy them to this day. He's got some sick flows in "My first single" and a couple nice lines in "Big weenie" and although I understand the concept he intended for with these songs, I still don't think they're Eminem quality. Same with "Evil Deeds" and "Never Enough" They're both top notch rap songs, but evil deeds (even with it's sick beat) doesn't have good enough lyrics to draw you in like the older Eminem. Same with "Never Enough". His flow is amazing, but after releasing "Till I collapse" as his song with Nate Dogg on his previous album, having this song near the beginning almost tells the listener "Ok, this isn't as good as The Eminem Show" because people will instantly compare it these songs to "White America" and "Till I Collapse". "Just lose it is probably a classic, but I didn't highlight it (even though I enjoy it) because it's not as good as the other first singles, which says a lot about the CD. It's still good, but it's no "My name is", "The Real Slim Shady", or "Without Me". "Spend some time", "Mockingbird", and "Crazy in love" set the tone for this album IMO. These 3 songs, along with "Yellow brick road" all put me in an undescribable dark, but happy kind of mood. None of his other CD's have had this effect on me. "I love you more" should have been on the original CD instead of the bonus CD that came with it, but it leaked in Winter of 03 with some others. I think if "We as Americans" and "I love you more" did not leak and were on the album instead of "Big Weenie" or "My first single", then this album would have it's own feel to it.

Although this album is considered his worst, and possibly legitly, it's still a better rap album than nearly any out that I've heard. There's 4-5 songs that aren't on the standard Eminem level that every song had on the CD's before it, making it apparent that it couldn't top those CD's, but for what it is, it's an awesome CD with it's own emotional & unique feel to it when you look at the best of it.

A lot of people feel that Eminem is shit since he came back from retirement. I just want to make something clear, HE CAN NOT by ANY MEANS match the heights he set early in his career. It wouldn't matter if he made the greatest album possible, it can not top his first 3 albums because he's not new anymore, everyone knows he's not a psychopath now so he can't fuck with people's heads, he's already said nearly EVERYTHING he could say that would interest anyone, he's 37 here instead of in his twenties and young people are always more appealing. A lot of people don't like this album because of the "accents" he uses, or because he's basically fucking around and making shit up the whole time except in 2-3 songs.

I knew before this came out that it would never match MMLP or TES, but I was hoping it would at least be something good in comparison to the rest of the hip hop scene. I wasn't dissapointed. I was actually ecstatic when this leaked onto the internet and I heard him spitting insane lyrics on nearly every song and making shit up as if he was Slim Shady again. This album is incredible for the same reason I used when describing Encore. "What left can he possibly say?" This album is a completely unique CONCEPT album. He's acting that way on purpose, he's not doing serious emotional songs on purpose. He found away around doing those types of songs when he's already touched on nearly everything. He makes a clever CD, calls it "Relapse" suggesting to listeners that he may be going back to his roots, obviously exciting his fans. He then turns the album into something that's nothing like the rest of his albums. It's nearly ALL just him getting back in the groove of rapping and flowing again, except now the controversy and wonder surrounding him that made him so interesting in the first place is replaced with the only thing that could justify the CD. Flows about whatever zany shit he feels like, saying the most fucked up shit possible in a fucked up voice (that he HAD to use to make the rhymes work in a lot of cases) all while FLOWING and using wordplay that surpasses even every one of his first 4 main albums. He was creative with this one, and even though the songs aren't serious for the most part, they're good songs in the sense that they're enjoyable to listen to. It's got good beats on nearly all of the songs, and it's fun to drive around blasting them while listening to him go crazy with his wordplay regardless of what he's saying.

It was also kind of refreshing getting a taste of his old persona on SSLP (IMO, for the most part) hearing him basically say "Fuck the dramatic shit" and just pump out some sick fucked up lyrics flowing like crazy over some good beats.

"3am" wasn't one of my favourites. I respect it, and it's got some sick verses, but there's better on the CD. Probably because it's overshadowed by "Stay wide awake" because the songs are basically about the same thing, yet Stay wide awake is just ridiculous with the lyrics and flow.. beat, presentation, everything. When I heard "My Mom" (The first song I threw on when it leaked because We made you and 3am were already singles I had heard) I was extremely happy. I was like "Holy fuck he's hardcore again, this is nothing like Encore he's actually going nuts here". Then I heard "Insane". Insane isn't a song I particularly like, but I think it helped define the album.. Because it's likely meant to be as fucked up as fucking possible, when everyone thought that the eminem that said shit like that was gone. I could tell by the end of "insane" that this album was laid back and great. I didn't think he had it in him anymore. "Bagpipes from Baghdad" and "Hello" basically follow this pattern. All 4 of this songs collectively kind of let me know what this CD is all about. Him taking it easy and fucking around, saying whatever he wants. He's taking a breather from all of the drama and just rapping about crazy shit and making the wordplay as good as he could. I liked it. "Tonya" and "Same song and dance" are AWESOME. When I heard it and realized the song was based on the "Tonya" skit before it with the hitchhiker (it didn't click in at first) I was blown away. This song is genius. You always hear club songs saying shit like "Yeah shorty shake that ass, do that dance, sing that song." Eminem's spin on these commonly heard types of club songs is "Yeah, do that dance, it's the last dance you'll ever get the chance to do, bitch shake that ass, you ain't ever going to break that glass, the windshields too strong for you." I think that's some of the most brilliant shit he's come out with since retirement. He knows girls will dance to it without really listening to the music, and they do.

I liked "Medicine ball" and "We made you".. particularly medicine ball out of this pair, but for me they weren't anything THAT special. The christopher reeves shit in medicine ball was funny, and it's got some good flows, but it didn't do it for me like the other wacky songs closer to the beginning of the album. "We made you" is actually a likeable song in my books, but it's not bolded because it really fails in comparison to all of the other first singles that are supposed to be all "crazy". Even just lose it, which wasn't even close to the 3 first singles from his CD's before it was much better than "we made you" in my opinion.

"Old times sake" and "Must be the ganja" were nothing special for me.. when compared to the quality of most Eminem songs. They're still decent rap songs, but definitely not songs we'll remember in 10 years like the shit from his older CD's. Still, good flows, and he did his classic "one song back and forth with dre" and it's not bad or anything, just nothing amazing. I think "Stay Wide Awake" defined his whole horror-core persona. A lot of songs are about being a serial killer likely to fit the "fucked up" theme of the album, but Stay Wide Awake was like nothing I have ever heard before. Even if it is all a joke, NO ONE makes rap songs with that kind of wordplay, no one famous that I've heard of aside from Eminem anyways. "Deja Vu" is set apart from the style of the rest of the album in a sense, but not completely. The album is supposed to be about relapsing and all of the fucked up things that went through his mind when he was fucked up, but Deja Vu isn't him fucking around, he's explaining his story about drugs. Hook is amazing, one of his best ever, the verses are all amazing. Just a hands down great song. Particularly for me having my best friend die around the same time his best friend did, and me having been a benzo & opiate addict. "Now I need them just not to feel sick, yeah I'm getting by, wouldn't even be taking this shit of DeShaun didn't die"... that gives me goosebumps sometimes when I hear it. It gives the album which is mostly him playing around a small taste of serious Eminem for those who want it. "Beautiful" stands out amongst the rest because it's nothing like the rest. Apparently he wrote the first 2 verses just after "Encore" came out, while he was on drugs. It's a really touching song though, and although it doesn't fit the album, it's another taste of another Eminem persona for those who want it. "Crack a bottle" is nothing special. It kind of defines Eminem coming back in a sense as it was the first song from the album that leaked out, so I enjoy listening to it and remembering partying back when everyone else was listening to it, but the song itself is really nothing special, aside from the chorus.. which is alright on an Eminem standard.

"Underground" was spectacular for me when I first heard it. The night "Relapse" leaked online I listened to all of the songs in order after I burned it, and since it was called "Underground/Outro" I figured it was probably some long skit or something.. as Outro's are usually his skits at the end. When it came on and I heard him say "A lot of people ask me.." like he does at the beginning of "Criminal" and "Still don't give a fuck".. both the last songs on his first 2 CD's.. I immediately got excited for the song because it was nostalgic. That's what people wanted to hear him say at the beginning of his final song right there. Once again, another taste of a long gone Eminem, one we hadn't seen since 2000. It was his angry Marshall Mathers LP voice which I was thrilled about, and the beat was sick as fuck. This song can't top "Criminal" which it is most similar to.. but nothing could. It's still as good as it could have possibly been. My only gripe is that he's using his intense voice to rap about fictional movie characters near the end, and although the verses are sick, I wish he would have attempted to use his angry voice aimed more towards something real that's making him angry.. still, I was glad to hear it on the CD. Regardless of what anyone tells me, or how it compares to his first 3 CD's, I don't care. This was a brilliant come-back CD and I love it.

There are 2 bonus tracks on this album, both good. "Be careful what you wish for", and "My Darling". Be careful what you wish for is a good song, no doubt, but it's a bit too short for me to be bolded. It sounds like the old Eminem show Em explaining what's going on with his career, which I liked. The real prize winner here (and on this entire album, although it's a bonus) is "My Darling". This song is as good as anything he's ever put out, even in his prime. It's creative and clever as hell, explains his stance on things metaphorically, it's dark as fuck, has a SICK beat.. this song is it's own world and I love how he spends 2/3 of it arguing with a satanic voice that ends up rapping alongside his own voice at the end, showing us that it was the demon inside him he's arguing with the whole time (and possibly his old self). Sick epic song. Best song since he came back from retirement on anything 2009 or later.

Although many of the songs are highlighted, I do have a gripe with this album. I believe he did "sell out" here, yet I still love the album. The Eminem every fan loves doesn't "apologize" for previous work to make people assume that his new shit is on another level so they will buy it. He'd say "Fuck you, if you don't like it don't buy it then.. In fact if you don't like this CD either you can suck my dick. I'll do what I want, fuck what you like" or something along those lines. Unfortunately that Eminem is hidden (but not dead) right now, and he fucked up by doing that. Aside from that this album is fantastic. Again, nothing can top his first 3 albums, but same argument.. what could he possibly do or say next that would be fresh or remotely interesting? He somehow did it again. The thing I love about this CD is you can see how much passion he's putting into it, even though he knows he's not in the spotlight or interesting as he used to be no matter what he does. He STILL fucking makes an epic hip hop CD though, after doing what I thought was everything he could do.

This CD may actually end up being a classic. It's even more diverse than the Eminem show.. there's no theme of the album.. He switches something for each album so he never goes stale, and then everyone argues about "I want the MMLP Eminem back", "I want the SSLP Eminem back" then when he gives them what they want in "Relapse" Everyone is like "I like "Beautiful" because it's like the old "TES" Eminem. No matter what he does, someone is going to want "The old Eminem". "The old Eminem" consists of 3-4 completely different styles of rapping, and styles of content.. even different voices he uses. He can't do them all at once in one song or it would sound stupid (or epic), so what does he do? He takes as many different sounds as possible, makes funny songs, deep songs, sad songs, love songs, angry sounding songs, real songs, joke songs all top notch and all on one album with no skits. He performs a combo breaker and makes his most unique CD ever. Wacky wild 1st single, the exact opposite. Lots of skits that are basically an eminem trademark? Not even one on the entire CD. Somehow he managed to put out a new CD and make it unique and fresh, and of very high quality.. AGAIN.

"Cold wind blows" is sick. It sounds like something that would normally be a 1st single. It's cocky, catchy, mean, fun. He's joking around and offending people. It's much better than "We made you" from his previous album in the sense that it would make a good classic Eminem first single. "Talking to myself" is the second song and the EXACT OPPOSITE of the first one. Here he's not joking at all, he's showing a sense of low self esteem as opposed to cockiness, he's implying that he's not very good anymore and that he has mental problems at one point, or has been going through shit like that. It's basically a song about him having issues and breaking through them.

"On Fire" seems to be the favourite song of many. It's a great song and all, but it doesn't stand out to me for some reason. I can see why it would to most, he's got his angry voice that everyone (including myself) loves.. fuck it, I dunno, it's a great song. It's just not as unique and original as the rest, for me it's Eminem delivering some sick verses (which is good, but I'm used to it) but he's not really making any points with his serious voice. Sick verses though.. it just doesn't really stand out for some reason IMO.

"Won't Back Down" IS unique, because the song is basically Eminem doing the one thing he hasn't tried much of.. being a punchline artist, which is popular lately. He does an amazing job of it, and shows other rappers that he's one of the best at that too, if not the best (that's famous.. you never know what some people that aren't famous could be like). I just.. don't enjoy listening to the song. I don't like the beat all that much, and although he does a good job with it I just don't really enjoy listening to it.

"White trash party" is a nice laid back song to have included on the album. He's got a particularly good flow in it.. it's just not as unique as the rest IMO and I couldn't just bold every song on every album for containing something I appreciated. If I did that, then there would be no significance for the songs I DO bold.

"Going through changes" "Not afraid" "Seduction" and "No love" are an awesome sequential combination of songs that I believe Eminem placed in that order to tell a story in a sense. Going through changes reflects on Eminem being in a bad spot with drugs, so it obviously was a song about how he used to feel while on drugs. "Not afraid" comes right after it, and Going through changes is the perfect song to have before "not afraid".. because it seems like he's showing you that he's losing the negative attitude he had about his drug use and situation in life in GTC, and beating it in "Not afraid" by getting off of drugs. I find it insane how EMINEM is the one making "Not afraid", and if any of you have known him from the beginning you'll know why. I like how "Seduction" comes right after not afraid, because "Seduction" is just incredible, the beat is hot as fuck, the verses are awesome, the chorus is awesome.. one of the best songs on the album. It comes right after first a depressed song, then a transition song (Him beating the drugs and finding his confidence again), and then Seduction.. he's on top of the world, he's the best, and he's letting you know it. This kind of shows the listeners, or implies "Get off drugs, then you will find yourself and be awesome like this".

It also must be hard to put out a song about getting off drugs when he himself spent his early career helping young sponges absorb that "it's cool to do drugs". The fact that he's going back on what he said.. I actually respect it here. That takes something.. To accept that you may have fucked up a generation to an extent instead of denying it, and to put out a song that lots of people will hate you for doing (going back on your word) just to do the right thing and possibly help some of the world out now at the expense of what people say about you "selling out". I don't think this is why he sold out, by the way.. I think he sold out by agreeing to talk shit about his previous work to make more sales here, but fuck it. whatever.

After Seduction comes no love, an old song that used to place at my grade 9 dances made into a rap remix.. little wayne is on it. I truly believe Eminem is being really clever here and secretly dissing little wayne, while he's still telling us through his lyrics that he's in his prime now.. just like seduction. Apparently when Em & Wayne did this song live, Em says "Get these wack cocksuckers off stage, where the fuck is kanye when you need him?" he points at wayne. This is a brilliant way to insult someone.. without them even knowing, thus pointing out how gullible they are as well. He gets wayne on an album, does a SONG with him about "no love for you", points at him while saying get these wack cocksuckers off stage when they do it live (I believe that seals the debate right there, there's no other reason to do that, and I seriously doubt it was an accident. It's Em being a creative genius once again and it flying way over everyone's heads). Also, on the album, he says "little wayne smokes purp, till he burps, does a word search & get's circles wrapped around him like you do when I come through etc".. as if that's a coincidence and means nothing. In "Seduction" even if this song were about a girl, it would be amazing.. but it's not. The girl is rap itself. He says "They call me Fire Marshall I shut the shit down, your entire arsenal is not enough to fuck with one round, I am also the opposite of what you are like, you're a microcosm of what the fuck I am on the mic"... Possible reference to little waynes "Fire man". In not afraid "You said you were king, you lied through your teeth, for that fuck your feelings (fillings) instead of getting crowned you're getting capped. (Both types of fillings, he "lied through his teeth", lol. In "Talking to myself" he says "I almost made a song dissing little wayne, thank god that I didn't do it.. I'd have had my ass HANDED to me". It's so obvious that he's being sarcastic here.. it's too modest. he's not expecting anyone to take it seriously, he' lipping them. In seduction he talks about how the game is his, and everyone else he's probably referring to up there in the hip hop scene likely things he's talking about a girl.

"Space bound" is a strange song, but I actually like it. The chorus is weird, but interesting.. it provokes emotion. Just a love song, top notch as expected.

"Cinderella Man" ... I personally don't really like listening to this song that much because I don't like when the other guys voice says "Cinderella Man" constantly.. which is a shame, because the beat is amazing and the verses are some of the best & most cocky I've EVER heard from Em, present or past, so it gets bolded.

"25 to life" if this album wasn't brilliant enough as it already was for the reasons I mentioned earlier with "Seduction" and how it relates to the album, and not even to mention how good the wordplay and metaphors are on this album, this song seals the deal. This album is awesome. Seduction makes you believe at first he's talking about a girl, but it's actually about hip hop itself. 25 to life is well constructed, a good beat, good emotional flows about how whatever he does is basically not good enough "I bend over backwards for you all you do is laugh, cause that ain't good enough, you expect me to fold myself in half, till I snap." He makes a good point. In the beginning on the first listen it sounds definitely like a love song, to Kim or something.. but at the end he surprises everyone with "Fuck you hip hop, I'm divorcing you". Clever? Yes, but it goes beyond that. I think this song is meant to sound like a love song that surprises you with being about hip hop, so Kim/Mariah (whoever he's got the feelings for, probably Kim) are left to wonder if it was actually directed towards them/her. If I were Kim Mathers and I heard 25 to life.. I'd think he was being clever and killing 2 birds with one stone. I'm sure his personal relationship with her is just as important to him as his music, or close. He's not allowed to openly write songs about her anymore apparently, so what a brilliant way to write a song about her.. make it so each lyric could be used to represent how fans/critics/media treat him too. Fucking amazing. And no one catches this shit really, they just say he sucks. He might not have the type of music everyone likes, but he's definitely extremely smart. Smarter than any other famous rapper.. or at LEAST he shows it in his songs to a higher degree.

"Almost famous" This song is the SHIT. It's probably the heaviest song on the album, and he delivers it with verbal intensity that no one has seen in years. The beat and intense delivery of his vocals make thing song. The lyrics are great, but I wouldn't even give a fuck what he was saying even if they weren't.

"Love the way you lie" I wasn't going to bold this one, but then I remembered that it's Justin Biebers contender on youtube, and it probably made recovery as big as it is (something i can appreciate). It's not that I don't like the song.. I think it's a great song to be honest.. but since there's already a song with the same message on the B side of "Encore" that's even better, I don't think it stands out that much to me. I'm still glad the song is on the album, Rihanna does a really good job with the chorus, I actually like when she says "But that's alright" and the notes she uses with those words. It's well done and emotion provoking.

"You're never over" At first I didn't like the presentation of this song, the way he sings, but now I've grown to appreciate it. It would have been bolded anyways because it's definitely a unique song. A song that would have had to have been done eventually, and he completely kills it. It's also a great choice to conclude the album, and you can tell he's passionate in it. Who wouldn't be? I can also relate to it, having lost a best friend as I've already stated. I love the verses in this song. In conclusion, Eminem is still absolutely incredible, regardless of whether or not he was perfect in the past and unable to match it now. He's doing a better job than I could have possibly imagined.

There's also a bonus song on the original CD. "Untitled" I like it, but there's no real point to it, it just sounds like a sick freestyle on a sick beat. I would have bolded it, but as I said, I can't be bolding everything.

I guess there's 2 more bonus songs, yet they're not on the CD. You must have to download them like "CWYWF" and "My Darling" from relapse. I haven't heard the one at the bottom, but I've heard rydaz.. and it's a decent song, but that's it. Not anything too wild especially since it's Eminem. The theme of the song is "ryding" and "being tough" I believe, like a lot of rap is. It's not that bad.. I just think it's kind of lame to glorify fighting. I think any man who goes around talking shit to people and acting tough must have an inferiority crisis and be trying to compensate for something.

I know this is true at least in some cases because one time this guy (I'm going to end this with a personal funny story that this reminded me of) that all of the "tough" guys were afraid of was talking shit to me.. someone he didn't know I knew told me he bluffs and isn't actually tough, he just scares everyone.. so when he cocked me off in front of a store, i lipped him back.. he dared me to cross the street, and I did.. so he starts yelling at me making up some bullshit as to why he was starting shit. it was lies. He grabs me, I told him not to touch me and when he didn't let go I pushed him HARD into his car. He looked so surprised, lol, and like 20 people were there getting beer before the store closed watching. He starts swinging and got me once, but then I smashed him twice knocking him into his car again, then it got broken up while he screamed I'm lucky while bleeding, lol. He's lucky he didn't get humiliated more, because I don't act like a tough guy.

He will probably remember that day as a horrible day. Something kind of like "The day my life got flipped turned upside down, and I'd like to take a moment just sitting right there, and tell you how I became prince of a town called Belair." Maybe not though, he might just go into denial about the whole thing.

"Session one" - I don't know if I've heard this song, or if it's an actual part of the "Recovery CD"

Ok, in short... you are a stan. Take it whatever way you want to (compliment or otherwise) but whoever listens to Encore, trying to look for positives and saying statements like

it's still a better rap album than nearly any out that I've heard...

The real prize winner here (and on this entire album, although it's a bonus) is "My Darling". This song is as good as anything he's ever put out, even in his prime. It's creative and clever as hell, explains his stance on things metaphorically, it's dark as fuck, has a SICK beat.. this song is it's own world and I love how he spends 2/3 of it arguing with a satanic voice that ends up rapping alongside his own voice at the end, showing us that it was the demon inside him he's arguing with the whole time (and possibly his old self). Sick epic song. Best song since he came back from retirement on anything 2009 or later.
