damn, this is a great idea, beat battle, it should have more views/replies, ok, I liked both, but I'm slightly leaning towards Rise's version, but both were pretty good sampled and done, damn, I should check TR's production section more often

You both had nice supplementing beats. BumShiv's started getting annoying after a while, the tone of the voice sample you used really hurt my ears. RFTA's was much smoother and easier on the ears.

Yeah..Rise wins this one..
I love all of Bum's simple beats though.

Rise has the more complex and epic feel to each beat he did..
He used a lot of sampling and chopping methods that sort of gave him his own signature sound.

Both were great, but Shiv's does get annoying after a while. Rise's drums were also much better. RFTA gets my vote.

Ok, now for the reason Bum's gets annoying.

The sample loop you use isn't good for a verse. What I mean is that the part you have on constant repeat sounds great on a bridge or a hook, but it's too much for constant looping in a verse.

Rise, your beat has a classic sampled feel to it, but somehow doesn't seem dated. It's like a modern interpretation of an old school sound. Great beat.
