Being a big fan of horror movies this is a pretty interesting and simple topic for me.
Mine are:
1. House of Wax
2. Wrong Turn I, II
3. Mirrors
4. Paranormal Activity
5. Haunted

the better one is "the grudge". I've never been so scared with a movie in my life. I remember how bad I slept for 2 or 3 nights. I've seen another japanese horror movies after this, but i guess i'm more immune now, the effect was not the same.

I cant even think of 5 but the first Saw was brilliant.
I saw some of these mentioned but none of them were really that good. I guess I like the older horror films cause the quality, or lack thereof actually makes them better

LMAO at people saying Paranormal Activity and Insidious were SCARY.

Those two movies just used a bunch of loud, annoying sound effects throughout the movie to make it scary.

I'd have to agree with Saw though, that shit was brilliant. Shame they kept milking the franchise.. :shakehead:

the first saw had the best, hands down, ending to a horror film and one of the best for any film period. dont wanna ruin it but the whole him being there the whole time, just brilliant. its a shame they filmed that in i think 20 days and the acting was sorta poor, if done correctly with the right actors that'd of been one of the best films of all time
