When I first saw the We Made You video, it instantly reminded me of Without Me and Just Lose It. I just think that back in the day, all he needed was a simple beat and he could have fun. These days, it just doesn't seem to happen anymore.

I wouldn't want it to be totally outright poppy-jokey like this, I feel like he's pushed that whole idea to the breaking point. I want him to come with something a bit more witty and satirical.

Yes, it is nothing like his other "funny" singles though. He says a few lines that are meant to be funny but I don't consider the whole song to be funny. I like the song and everything but really...do you find Fast Lane and Without Me comparable?

Fast Lane is not one of those funny singles for me neither. The last funny single was " We made you" . Not my favorites songs, but I love "Without me". And the video is hilarious. And that robin/rapboy costume is mythical.
