This is meant to be rapped in a soft spoken kind of tone, kind of like some of Kendrick Lamar's work..and the first 2 lines, I pronounce/deliver the words "stranded since birth/ landed on earth/ 'stand what it's worth" in the way he rapped the part "just like my drink, the fuck you think?" in "The Recipe"....that's the emphasis I put on those words.

This piece was a bit rushed, particularly the chorus...which doesn't really matter because I go over my songs tons of times before finalizing 'em...anyway, here it is.

Good piece. It really struck a chord with me. well written man.
I read it in Kendrick Lamars voice. Fuck this was dope though.

I liked the devil rocked my cradle line. I didnt really like the Elvis line, thought it was a bit cheesy and didnt really fit

This is nice man. If you wanted a second verse you shoulda hit me up haha. But for real, this is something a lot of people relate to, and it was executed in a pretty creative way. The multies are nice, flow is really on point. But the subject and how its executed is what makes this so good. The multies and rhymes fit perfectly into the story, nothing felt forced.
