I thought it was quite obvious the reason I said the conclusion was you're an idiot is because your conclusion is The Eminem Show is average.

Your main points were
-SSLP and MMLP has better highlights
-TES had more forgettable songs

-Sing For The Moment, Till I Collapse, White America and Cleaning out my Closet are on par with your songs mentioned. Even if you prefer Stan and Rock Bottom are better.
-My Dad's Gone Crazy is in no way a filler track :facepalm . Your forgettable tracks are in no way more forgettable than tracks like I'm Shady, Cum On Everybody, Remember Me, Under The Influence (of course ignoring preferences).

So yes,

Sorry but no, and yes I see "My Dad's Gone Crazy" as a filler track. "I'm Shady", "Cum On Everybody", "Remember Me?" and "Under The Influence" are all much better than any of the filler songs off of The Eminem Show. The filler songs off of The Eminem Show lack the substance and innovation that the songs off of The Slim Shady LP and The Marshall Mathers LP have. And no way in hell is "Sing For The Moment" on par with "The Way I Am", or "'Till I Collapse" on par with "Stan". Get the hell outta here.

So yes,

Lmao how you could consider the album average is beyond me. I consider that extremely poor judgement.

I don't think it's fair to compare Sing For The Moment with The Way I Am. They address two completely different issues. The same goes for comparing Till I Collapse with Stan, they're two completely different songs.

You guys should lay off, man.

I mean, don't get me wrong, the way Blu puts his point across can rub you the wrong way. But The Eminem Show got a lot of hate from Eminem fans back in the day for a reason. Overall, the album is a very cohesive and impressive work. I don't believe, however, that the weaker songs from TES stand up as well alone as the weaker songs on the two LPs that preceded it.

Is it a classic? Yes, I'd say so. For that reason, Blu is wrong in my eyes. His point about some of the songs being weaker than the other albums rings true for me. It isn't as raw or gritty as his albums prior. He does stick to a formula of sorts for that album, but that's what makes it so solid. It's a tradeoff, to some extent.

Hmmm. I personally feel, although I prefer SSLP, The Eminem show has greater consistency throughout potentially due to it's production. MMLP being the most consistent out of the three. It's all a bit arbitrary though.

Regardless, if MMLP>TES =/= TES being average.

I agree with you about everything except MMLP being more consistent. I'm not sure it's less consistent, per se, but TES is very consistent production-wise to me. Relapse would probably be the most consistent, with Beautiful being the only one that sticks out.

But yeah, TES is not an average album by any means. I suppose one could make the argument that it's average for an Eminem album, but that would undoubtedly fall to personal preference.

Soldier and Sing for the Moment are top 3 Eminem songs, and the other one isn't even in the MMLP or SSLP.

That is a fact, now deal with it and close this thread.
