Dudes... this anime is fucking greatness.

i didn't watch Brotherhood or whatever the one based on the manga was called.

but the regular Full Metal Alchemist anime was kinda eh to me. the concept had promise, but i ended up disappointed by the end.

It was hard to watch the whole thing because of the boring dialogue, but it had some epic moments.
The best episodes were the ones with intense action scenes and gore.

My favorite moment is when Al does a human transmutation to resurrect that girl, but he failed and the result was a soulless doll.

That scared the shit outta me as a kid...
That and when Al and Ed see their disfigured mother at the start.

For an anime, it had a passable story and concept.

Brotherhood wasn't really worth checking out; I was happy with the ending of the original.
