So WB's Wants To Make A JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie

So I heard this a couple of days and didn't see a thread about it. Apparently after seeing the success of The Avengers, WB's thinks that they can do that with the Justice League. For those of you who don't know the Justice League, it's basically a superhero team from DC but the team includes Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, and Cyborg. The film is slated for a 2015 release date and WB's wants to start shooting next year with no cast or director signed.

I don't know about this. The Avengers had all those solo movies leading up to it and all the Justice League will only have Man of Steel leading up. Guess we'll have to wait

Is anyone really surprised? Honestly, after The Avengers I was hoping they'd slow down on the hero movies...guess that's not happening lol.

Besides Batman and Superman...the Justice League looks weak compared to The Avengers.

Explain? The Avengers have 3 people with no powers (Cap, Hawkeye, Black Widow), a rich man with a toys (Iron Man), a god (Thor), and Hulk. JL has Batman, Superman, fastest man alive with Flash, a man who has the most powerful weapon in the universe (Green Lantern), a female who is as strong as Superman (Wonder Woman), Aquaman, a shape shifting Martian, and a cyborg. Looks better than the Avengers squad.

Justice League is better than Avengers in many ways but as movies...I'm not so sure how they'd make it so it's not corny.

The Justice League will fail because they're trying to rush it and aren't putting in as much time as Marvel did.

They were planning a Justice League movie back in 2007, Adam Brody was supposed to be the Flash (great choice btw), but The Dark Night was in the making at the time, so I believe they changed their mind because of that. Even Common was part of the cast I think.

Yea Common was suppose to be JL. The film didn't happen because Nolan didn't want 2 different Batmen because the JL Batman was suppose to be an older version of Nolan's Batman. The film script is online. It's pretty good. The film was suppose to be called JUSTICE LEAGUE: MORTAL. The guy who was gonna be Batman on that is being looked at for the new Batman. He is Armie Hammer. He played the twins in The Social Network and is gonna play the Lone Ranger next year. I like him but when he is 6'5 and when he was fitted for the suit he was 7 feet. Batman shouldn't tower over Superman. I hope Common still will play GL. Fuck Ryan Reynolds. That movie was shit.

Huge comic book fan here. Grew up DC fan but shows love for Marvel.

I'm hoping Chris Pine is Flash. He's a good actor. He was Captain Kirk in that new Star Trek. I just hope they do Wonder Woman right. Don't cast hot chick who can't act for shit coughMeganFoxcough. They need to cast a good actress who obvious is hot but also can kick ass. Couple years ago I would have said Angelina Jolie but she hasn't been in a movie in a while.

Would you want to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Batman? A part of me thinks he wouldn't suit the role.
