I forgot about this song, I'm gonna go give it a listen.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

And Bizzy's verse was good on that too, Gordy had to have written it though.

I like that verse too, short and sweet. But I think this one is slightly better, and the song is better overall.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot would have been 10x better than it is now if it was actually mixed/mastered properly and not just raw vocals.

It's a dope song doe and his verse hypes me up, so does Bizarre's.

Plus it's Pat Benatar, that's like -19 points.

I truly miss D12. There is no one today as good as them. Sure there is Slaughterhouse, but their on a different level than D12. Eminem needs to step up and bring back his group in honor of Proof's achievement of bringing us such great music.

When was this recorded? Em's voice sounds so... weird. Like something you'd hear on Recovery but with that drugged up Em feel to it. Wtf.

I think it's the shit mixing on Em's verse.

There really isn't another group out there that has the same chemistry and versatility as D12. People write them off as "Em's group he dragged along" but they had to have skill in the first place to even be considered by Em.

If we talk about rhyme for rhyme, skills overall, chemistry, versatility & all that... there are plenty groups that are way better than D12
Still D12 have always been really original act & all of them have whatever skills but hip-hop crews aren't always purely judged on skills when we talk about friends who grew up together in the same place so Proof definitely didn't put this group together solely 'cuz of their skills.

Every crew of this kind have less talented & skilled rappers in it too because it's a cultural thing above all, it's usually about a leader/s & others who contribute 'cuz most of the time they share the same ideas or wear the same flags 'cuz they rep the same place where they grew up together.

That's why hip-hop groups that consist all great MC's in their rosters are Super groups, not really crews.

I love D12 & really want one last album but apart us been fans, without EM & Proof the rest of them dudes are less than mediocre as a group nowadays... with all the respect for their individual skills of course. Unfortunately all groups that lose members never look the same.

D12 minus was/is that apart EM's glorious career, only Bizzy & Proof went to get their own when the wave was huge, it was really bad Mr.Porter & Kuniva (solo or as a duo) & Swift never pushed for solo albums back in the day. The status of the group would be different now if all them dudes branched out, even if none of them had big album. Honestly to be part of multi platinum group, more than once that is... to have skills & EM next to you & not to push for solo shit is just wrong!

Look Menzo... D12 last album that could put 'em to where they can compete with other groups came in '04 if I'm not mistaken. Apart from a few songs a little after than, & that one right here... what they've done is nowhere convincing they could be by any components as high as we all want them to be.
I do respect to the full all those dudes & their skills individually, but honestly without EM & Proof they are mediocre as a group today. Those two mixtapes are nowhere convincing they could be up with the best groups ya know. Still I'm not saying they're bad or that some of the dudes are bad artists overall.

We don't even have to look deep as for this moment there's a better group in their own clique, at pretty much all components... & if we count duos too they have one more better at any component group in their clique. Meaning today D12 can't touch both SH & BME & that's only in house!
Wu Tang were in their pinnacle in like mid 90's & they still have done way better than D12 for the last 8 years or so. I could go on & on with groups that have had better material & have definitely been more interesting & active for the time D12 have been gone, just that I don't wanna look like I'm trying to make them look bad. I am a true fan of the group & I always understood their act... a lotta people who think they're not a good group never really understood their unique act & rep. I personally would be really happy if they dropped a new album with all members like it suppose to come... I remember back in the day when they said this album was coming there was saved vocals from Proof as well. So I believe one last album of the true D12 can be totally on point nowadays but only this way with vocals from all dudes like in the old times.
