It was recorded for the Cradle To The Grave soundtrack, don't really see it being possible that he wanted to include it on Encore.

EDIT: I'm pondering on adding Go To Sleep, Nail In the Coffin, and Stimulate. I dare say such a tracklisting can make this album classic material....

''No apologies'' wasn't done for the ''Encore'' batch, not just that but like a year after the album dropped. ''Go to sleep'' & ''Stimulate'' weren't in that batch or the process when EM was doing the album as well.
All the tracks from ''Straight from the vault'' were from Encore batch though... & ''Nail in the coffin'' & ''The sause'' were recorded during the process of ''Encore''s sessions even though done separately for a reason that wasn't in the plan for the album.
Em said some tracks leaked & that's why they weren't on the album so few of the ''Straight for the vault'' have even been close to make the cut... two made it as bonuses on the deluxe edition.
Imagine how many more good songs were recorded in the time EM was beefing with everybody.
I love the ''Encore'' era & if Em put some of those on the album & if he picked his singles differently the album would've been with a different status right now.
I've read that the first 2 verses of No Apologies were written before Encore was released and that he added the last one for the Re-Up. I know Stimulate was written/recorded back in 2002, but he could've held onto it for Encore, it's not like Em doesn't hold onto songs for 2-3 years before throwing them on albums.
I know Go To Sleep was on the Cradle to the Grave soundtrack and the movie was released a little over a year before Encore, but damn, a DMX feature on an EM album would've been classic. I know that Shady/Aftermath was riding the 50 Cent/G-Unit buzz in 2003, but with the amount of quality material that Em wrote during that time period, there is no doubt we would've had a classic album. It's a damn shame.
I'm going make a thread in which we can discuss alternate tracklistings for Encore, in an attempt to come up with the most realistic.
