In the Comic Gwen gets killed by Goblin. As per the sources 'Rhino and Electro' are the next villains in this Movie. But, recently, the Director posts a pic of a Cabin numbered 14, which, again in the Comics is of Venom created by Dock ock. Lol! How many villains are there in this?

Venom wasn't created by Doc Ock...

In the 616, Venom is an alien from another planet like in Spider-Man 3.

In the Ultimate universe, Venom was created by Peter Parker's and Eddie Brock's father as a suit that could be the cure for cancer but something went completely wrong resulting in Venom.

I hope they don't go the Harry Osborne/Venom route. I get not wanting to be too much like the first series but here's a great opportunity for them to explore a deeper side of Harry. The Raimi films never touched on his depression/drug problems, which would definitely serve as more of a reason for him to turn villainous later in the series.

I like what I think they're doing though, with oscorp. It seems like all of the villains are being created out of oscorp programs, basically setting the stage for a huge showdown with Norman later on.

Also, I'm kinda sad it seems Gwen will meet her comic counterparts fate. I know it's gonna be essential eventually but still. Gonna suck.

I think they're setting a lot of villains up for future use. In the previous trilogy villains popped up at the beginning of a film. I think it'd be cool to have the future villains play minor roles for a little while.
