How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

One of the best cyphers I've ever seen/heard.
The only shitty thing is... DJ Premier said Rakim suppose to be the 4th dude for this round, but had a car accident & couldn't be there on time. That fucking ruined it for me, apart the quality of the cypher itself.

Why? He was the best on it.

The second half ruins it for me:

Now watch me kill a koala, while I maul a chihuahua,
bum a pill off of Paula like let me holla at you mama.
It's like I'm off the ba-ba when I bring the fuckin drama,
I used to bomb ya like Saddam but now that I'm a little calmer.
I'm a fuckin cross between Osama, Dahmer, Obama, and Dalai Lama,
told Miley I'm a knight in shining armor.
Mail a gift to Taylor Swift's trailer, a picture of my genitalia,
with a note sayin bitch I can't wait to nail ya.
Drug paraphernalia, beware the werewolf will kill ya,
that's him in his sheep's clothes he just shaved his hair off Cecilia.

Em's verse is just stuffed with too many rhymes. Little to no coherent thoughts. Don't just say he had the best verse cuz your multi-syllable boner went off the second he finished. Mos De and Black Thought went hard. Most believe think Black Thought took this.

One of the greatest things to ever happen in hip hop. Black thought is legendary and it's just too cool to see him spit with other legends like Em and Mos. Speaking of Mos, he got a little boring when he started naming streets (nothing wrong with remembering where you came from though I guess), but his intro is pretty dope.

Even though I agree Em's second half was lackluster, that first half was probably the best part.

"I hit you as hard as barbiturates in the ribs with a switch
And stitch you at the same time before you can flinch to it"

Might be the best line on there :flutter:

I think Mos Def used a recycled one, and then Black Thought ended up recycling his. I thought you of all people would have liked their verses though.

Yes... Mos Def used pre written & even released record for his part. The cypher was still great though & EM really blasted the fuck outta the place.
Like I said earlier on the thread, DJ Premier said Rakim suppose to be the 4th dude on it but had a minor car accident & could not come on time for it. It would have been surreal if Rah added to this.

Really? Damn, that would have been too dope. Do you have a link with the story?
