He hit went into a coma or something and died. The KHL has horrible luck. This kid, that whole team that died in the plane crash, and Cherepanov's death after getting hit too.

Giguere called out some of the players on the Av's, he was so pissed off.

Schneids won't get traded. They'll trade Luongo for less than his value before they move Schneider in my opinion.

Schneider s value in the off season will be ridiculously high... Gonna be a tough decision for Van.

He's more valuable to us I think. Now's kind of our turning point where young players are going to start to become very important. Zack Kassian, Nicklas Jensen, Brendan Gaunce, Frankie Corrado, etc. are going to be expected to start to be able to play at the NHL level, or at least be close to ready, because of the cap going down. ELC's are going to be very important next year.

I wouldn't say Schneider is better than Luongo, today sure he is... overall Schneider has a long way to go.. But he is a number 1 goalie. Luongo has been compared to Patrick Roy in his early years and at 1 point was the best goalie in the world.. Don't forget about the big Canada win for Luongo.

I don't know if you're aware of this, but Luongo had a groin injury while with the Canucks and has never quite been the same since. He has issues doing the splits properly now, and his mobility is pretty fucked now too. He's worked with our goaltending coach to redefine his game to a more technical style (like Schneider plays) rather than the old way he used to play when he was on top of the world.


Schneider now isn't as good as Luongo in his prime, but Luongo now isn't as good as Schneider because of how his style of game has had to change. Schneider is just way better at that Rinne-esq technical positional goaltending than Luongo is.

He is more valuable to u guys but Luongo is basically not tradable anymore, at 1 point he was but the asking price was to high for Lu... I still think can help any team win a cup.

Let me put it this way, I think that the Canucks would use an amnesty buyout on Luongo before they would trade Schneider.

What if u got back a roster player, a prospect and a first for Schneider? Looks like a lot but some teams would do that who need goaltending...

Well, here is our teams depth for at least next season:

And in all likely hood, Dale Weise and Maxim Lapierre will re-sign for the fourth line. There is also a good chance that Schroeder could play third line center next year, or that Booth gets bought out and Jensen makes the team.

I think they can still move Luongo. The return will just be small. We're deep enough to afford moving Luongo for cheap (eg. Draft picks at the draft) rather than moving Schneider.

CBC fucking sucks too. Kelly Hrudy and Glenn Healy are abortions of sportscasters, so is Jim Hughson. Kevin Weekes has about as much personality as a wet paper bag, and Don Cherry doesn't even fucking know what world he's in anymore.

Kypreos is okay, but I personally can't stand him.
