Would "We Made You" be Better Without the Accent?

Postby python » Apr 21st, '13, 23:33

I've heard good things about the lyrics, but when it comes to the accent, people fucking hate it. So in this thread, I ask, would the song be better without that goddawful childish accent?

I don't mind the accent, it's the lyrics that throw me off.

Just to be honest, I don't like the lyrics either. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that a man in his 30's is saying shit like "SKWEEZ IT, AN SKWOSH IT, AN PASSIT TO HUH FRAN". Just a hunch.

The accent/s is/are awesome... what would make it better would be a different hook. Em did the hooks for all the rest goofy first singles & they were nice... I even count Just lose it too.

Is it bad that I haven't listened to that song in over a year?
At least in its entirety.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

we made you should have had the accent, but he should have gone lighter on it
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"
