Kendrick Lamar Features Shut Down For The Remainder of 2013



While it has been several months since Kendrick Lamar released his debut album ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city,’ Kendrick has been able to maintain his Hottest MC status by handing out a slew of guest verses. However, Top Daw Entertainment CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith has had enough.

Yesterday Anthony took to twitter to release this statement:

“I get a million calls a day 4 a feature from @kendricklamar . I shut my MVP down until next year. Q, Soul n Rock are available let’s work..#TDE”

Good Kid, M.A.A.D City is pretty autobiographical. Do you know the conceptual direction of your next album?

I don’t know what the direction is—I can’t even lie to you. I can tell you it won’t be predictable. It won’t be me doing the same thing; that’s not me! I’m not predictable. Yeah it will be good in the long run, I've just been getting used to a new verse every week. It was nice while it lasted.
