Also, the amount of websites that have posted (then tweeted to millions) about Eminem's "awkward / strange / bizarre / high / stoned" interview is ridiculous. Everyone from Yahoo! to Rolling Stone to Huffington Post / NY Post to E! have covered it. The problem is regular fans/non-fans will probably believe them..

With only a brief cameo, Eminem provided everything fans could have wanted (or imagined) in a broadcast: confusion, a minor sense of discomfort and a general feeling of “What exactly just happened?”. Let’s run through what did happen, shall we? There was a clip of one of Eminem’s more disjointed songs in quite some time, then some footage of him looking around and being generally confused. Eminem didn’t know that he was on live TV. You can’t make this stuff up.

If I didn’t know any better (and I don’t, really), I’d think ESPN execs found Eminem in the luxury suites at Michigan Stadium and gave him 20 bucks to come into the booth. That thing could not have appeared any less prepared.

At first glance, one might suspect the person who organized Em’s cameo would be looking for a new job in the morning. But upon further reflection, it’s obvious that person should be promoted, at the very least, and more likely hailed as a visionary or a genius.
