Lol I have not seen the poll yet, just read people's posts and as expected Basketball would win. Which is why this thread is stupid as hell. It's like straight up disrespectful to the sport. I love both these sports, but just cuz you don't like a sport doesn't give you the right to trash and claim its better than whatever the fuck.

Well, while I agree that just because I don't like it doesn't mean I should trash it, I don't think I have trashed it much lol. Idk just after the discussion in that thread I wanted to see what everyone thought and it pleased me to see so many basketball fans. Football just annoys me, I wish I could like it. I was trashing it in the album thread but I don't think I've really bashed it here...sorry if it came off that way.

Tbh, I as an european .. like Football, the only thing that prevents it from being popular in Europe and elsewhere are the rules and the fact that one match takes up like 3 hours, correct me if I'm wrong lol .. I get the point of football but it's just too much too learn so you can understand .. In america it's different, it's culture, you learn it from the get go .. as soon as you're 5 - 10 you probably already understand the game.

That's a very valid point. It took me a while to get into football, same with my dad because we couldn't understand the rules. It's kinda like watching a game of Rugby for me, I think it looks pretty dope but i just dont understand the rules of the game and so its hard for me to understand what's going on. American football is a very strategic game and a lot of people dont realize that which is why they think it's boring (with comments like "1 play every 5 minutes is stupid). You truly have to understand football before you can understand its complexity. I know for me, I enjoy attempting to read a defense pre-snap just as much as i like watching the play.
