Both Kadri and Hodgson's contracts ended up being more reasonable than I thought they would be. Although, Kadri's is more of a bridge contract than Hodgson's, either way they did a good job.

Kassian looked ripped this year in the Canucks media scrum. Apparently Torts wants him with the Sedins, because he wants Kesler and Burrows to play together again.

Well, according to a few different sources, they are already somewhat close to an extension with Vancouver. The Sedins have said somewhat recently that they want to stay here for their whole careers (aside from maybe going to play with MoDo for a few years in the Swedish Elite League, as it is their home team, and Markus Naslund is the General Manager).

I don't think it'll be a distraction. The Sedins have been through contract years before, they're mature enough players to not let it get in the way of anything on the ice. At least, I hope so.

I'm going to be interested to see how our Swedish goalie prospects do in camp. Eddie Lack and Joacim Eriksson are apparently battling it out for the backup role. I think it's pretty much Lack's job to lose though.

Hansen, Daniel, and Henrik are the only ones out of that list who will really be a problem. I think Hansen might go elsewhere, because he probably wants a top-6 role, and he's stuck on the third line with Vancouver 90% of the time.

I think Weise might be let go, even though he's an RFA, because he and Torts didn't get along very well in New York when Weise played a little bit there.

Kassian and Schroeder should be fairly reasonable, as they both haven't proven much in the NHL. I hope they both have breakout seasons, but I doubt it.

Tanev might be a little bit pricey, and I think he has arbitration rights next season, so that could get interesting.

Weber will probably be let go, he's here for depth.

Alberts is a 7th defenseman, he'll be signed for cheap because he knows the team. Probably around 600 thousand just like this year.

Lack will probably get a general backup salary for 2-3 years depending on how he plays behind Luongo.

If you guys sign Raymond, be ready for potentially one of the most frustrating players you'll ever watch. Unless he's turned himself around, all he's done the last 2 seasons is skate around the perimeter, and fall over.

For the record, he looked great last training camp time (even though it was short), but vanished during the season.

Canucks lost 3-2. Our rookie goalies played very well, so did our rookie skaters. Our defense was awful, but considering our only roster defender in the lineup was Hamhuis, I'm not surprised. (I don't count Alberts).
