Why did 50 and Game fall off so hard?

50 hasn't released anything great since The Massacre . Sure , some songs on his newer material are good but his albums have been average or sub par at best . Plus he always talks about the same shit ..

Game . I just recenty checked out The Documentary . DAMN ! Production on this album is top notch . He had some great songs on it . Doctor's advocate was pretty good too .. Fast forward to 2013 and he signs with Cash Money

What happened? Anybody got an idea?

I don't think Game fell off yet. He's had some successful album releases, though granted he relies HEAVILY on feature to stay relevant. But Game was the personification of the west coast when they really lacked a dynamic rapper to represent them.

50 Cent, I think he fell off because of how popular he was, like Nelly. 50 Cent was confined in a particular era and it would just be weird to see him again.

50's last two mixtapes were totally on point... & as a matter of fact they were both critically acclaimed. His relevance is still top notch too... even though his sales declined a great deal. He has major problems with Interscope & that's been crystal clear for years... I think he's gonna come on top of it though. His hooks are still bananas too.

Game's fell off really hard indeed though... his first album was given to him by Dre & 50 & that's why it was so great. He's been mediocre & way worse than that ever since.

50's My life was definitely good enough for an album to follow too... not to mention MD & We up were good singles as well. SKI should have been out... definitely an Interscope fuck up.

I enjoyed Fiddy's first couple of CDs and the stuff he put out before he got signed.
After that, he did get a bit stale.

The next few releases only had a few good tracks.
