On good speakers, the beat sounds fine. You can hear the additional production by Em imo.

Yeah, the strings in the 3rd verse scream Eminem to me.. I thought the beat was fine, with good quality headphones it wasn't* bad, and the way he flows on the beat is awesome. Easily the best Em/Skylar track.

I keep going back to this song... I love all 3 verses. I like his voice and his flow.. I just can't help but hate the beat.. This could easily go from one of the most unliked tracks to one of the most liked tracks simply by the change of the beat.. At least I feel this way.

Asshole is 10/10 song, the verses were something i could see him doing in his prime and the hook and beat were awesome.

Really don't get the excitement for his verses in "Asshole".

The flow feels lazy and rambly and the lyrics become trite when he veers off in to anti-slut shit too. Feels like a better "My 1st Single" for sure.

He also sounds really unnatural and amaetuer when he says 'so fear not my dear'...

Starts off well though and it's become bearable. Doesn't ruin the album though. Just 'meh'.

I'd actually argue the opposite, as I think his delivery on these lines is fucking, as you would put, "badass".

Asshole was the first song I heard off the leak and I loved/love it to bits.
Dunno if it was because of my lowered expectations from the Monster premiere.
Still love it. Don't mind the ADK beat so much.

Yeah he does well despite it. I love the overal pace of the song and how he's just attacking from the begining.

This song feels like the only true dud to me too...

It still fits due to the whole album being like a fucking acid trip though. But Em's rambling on it is pretty bad, I can't believe he thought that babble was worthy of MMLP.

Seriously? His first verse and most of the second are pretty damn dope.
