I think that's what made it such a good movie. Kept me on edge the entire time. It was also a bad idea to watch it late at night, between it being so intense and creepy, going to sleep after was impossible. I was about to pop 3 Tylenol PMs to force myself to sleep.

I thought The Conjuring was awful and boring, I'll never understand the positive feedback
I think me and a few friends actually laughed out loud when that demon was on top of her closet, that looked so dumb

That's a lost art in the genre which is now overpopulated with the "jump scares" that shock you momentarily and then dissipate.
