It was trying to made of them a lil bit pop for sales, as you can see. In my opinion this album is dope as fuck, but trying to made of them pop artists....nah. That was stupid. On that album was a lotta real rap. Listen to "Rescue Me", or "Flip A Bird", or even "Our Way", or fuckin' "Asylum". That's not real rap? Of course it's sounds a lil bit poppy, but verses and all that shit. It's great.

Slaughterhouse are great MC's, but they failed with their last album. Some artists like Kanye, Jay, etc.. can make pop oriented albums and great songs without sounding boring. Slaughterhouse can't do that, and that's why they should do what they do best. Rapping.

I think WTOH was real rap lol...over sorta pop-ish beats (like their version of Recovery) but they did not compromise lyrics. They still performed well imo.
