Also, I think a verse of solid punches should get recognition as well as personal bars. It's personal preference so the judges decide that one. That being said, it's hard to have both punches and personals in a 12 bar battle. Not a lot of room to use set up bars.

12 was certainly a struggle, although I don't imagine I would have set up any more punchlines in a 16, because it's just not my style. Can't use it as an excuse.
